This documentary had some of everything needed to keep the kids and adults entertained and feeling like we are elephant experts by the end. Everything was beautiful and well captioned from the breathtaking scenery to the Duchess of Sussex amazing voice. Expand

Particularly considering the good cause in bringing awareness to elephants. But was I disappointed. It was very difficult to sit through in it's entirety. It felt like I was in Pre-School all over again, having my teacher read the class a story. Definitely not for adults, and I can't imagine most children sitting through a documentary like this. Pretty bad acting/over-acting, all the way around on this one. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First of all, let me get this out of the way: Elephants don't exist. I know, I know, I'm a genius. But if you happen to be a dumb butt that believes in Africa, let me inform you why you're wrong from plotholes in this very movie. First of all, at the beginning, where was the water in the lake thing coming from??? Hm??? Yea, riddle me this libtards. Secondly, if they were in a tropical paradise with unlimited food and water, why didn't they stay? Why did Gaya lead them out? Hm??? Honestly, Gaya had it coming with the lions. Thirdly, where did the whole ecosystem come from when the lake-swamp thing filled up again? Literally fish were swimming in a lake that was made 5 seconds ago. There are so many plotholes Disney. The frogs, the purpose of the journey, and overall the concept of Africa in general. Why did a baby elephant just pop out? They didn't show a pregnant elephant anywhere. Wake up sheeple, elephants died 20 years ago along with Africa. Disney is trying to trick us to make us believe in global warming. BE BETTER. Expand

Lasted less than 10 minutes, I couldn’t stand the narrators voice. The cinematography was beautiful and I truly wish a different narrator was chosen. Meryl Streep would’ve been way better.

Awful, awful saccharine narration by an entitled, deluded rich girl spoils an otherwise well filmed and captivating wildlife documentary, rendering it unwatchable.

Cinematically lovely, but narration was cheesy and tacky. This was clearly narrated by an amateur in narration. Just really spoiled the whole experience for me. Bad move, Disney!

They are all from the same IP address and are ALL created by the same sad little person who is a minion of Meghan! Well what do we have here...a Z lister actress trying to break into Hollywood in the twilight of her life. The voice is corny, cheesy, dull, unimpressive, boring and inarticulate. The best way to watch this film is with the sound turned right down. Great scenes but oh that dreadful droning voice! The truth is that Meghan can have all the 10 reviews she likes on here but she just cannot act. She has zero talent and zero looks too. Too old, too boring too talentless. The elephants are great the narrator is rubbish. Expand

Sadly for this beautiful film, this is a very amateur narration, with an annoying voice and a flagrant lack of experience from the narrator, which all contribute to make the listener tune out after a short few minutes. Nature documentaries should be left to the REAL professionals. Duchess or no duchess, Meghan Markle is nowhere near the excellence standard of Sir David Attenborough. Disney has shown terrible judgement by allowing Meghan Markle to spoil this exquisite documentary. Sorry Disney - one needs real talent to pull this off, you should have chosen wisely. Expand

Meghan Duchess of Sussex did an amazing job. I’ve watched it 3 times now. Two with my family and 1 with my neighbour and kids who are driving them bonkers during this lockdown. It was fun. The kids where so excited and their little faces beams with love and sadness when little jomo was nearly a goner. (I know this because we watched it together from our watts app group. Their parent couldn’t thank me enough for telling them about it, this evening we are going to watch Dolphin Reef can’t wait, neither can they. For the horrid nasty people leaving hateful review on a documentary trying to help these animals, I say shame on you! With what’s going on in the world today and you still harbour such hate for someone you don’t even know? Is frightening! Stop it!! Very well done Duchess Meghan. Expand

A Movie for All Ages so Grab the popcorn! You will Love ELEPHANT - Disney Nailed It!

Superb,

This family friendly Disney show is a perfect mix of entertainment and education. It is fun and informative. Unlike other show that leave you terrified, this one shows the dangers and you feel it, but you don't have to worry about getting traumatized by it. Unlike the fully animated shows, this is real and exciting for adults and kids of all ages.

The movie, extremely well made, the real life video of the Elephants, environment and other animals is mind blowing and captivates.

The Narrators voice was soothing and fit the movie perfectly, making you able to relate and love the elephants while feeling their emotions.

Watching this made me happy, fearful, on the edge of my couch, relieved, tearful, overjoyed and excited. How does that happen in a narrated family friendly movie? Let Disney show you how they NAILED IT!

Grab the popcorn, grab the kids if you have them it's AWESOME!
