Summary: The producer of a failing TV network decides to broadcast a `normal' person's life 24 hours a day in an effort to save the station. Ed Pekurny, a video store clerk wins the audition and EDtv is born. The first week, all is grand as Ed's fame grows but then the conflicts start to appear as the show is broadcasted nationwide.
