I honestly loved this movie, it was a good breeze fresh air, after 17 years they brought a movie in cinemas , it was a hit. Can't wait for 2015 and the new movie

DBZ Battle of gods is great reboot to the dragonball franchise new villians great computer animation epic battles alot of funny moments and it has a sequel revival of F

This movie was one hell of a banger.

The action was great, the comedy was STUPIDLY funny (lookin at you Vegeta) and the new form literally started a whole new part of Dragon Ball. Then came Ressurection F, the U6 saga, Future Trunks coming back, the Tournament of Power, the new Broly movieThis movie was one hell of a banger.

The action was great, the comedy was STUPIDLY funny (lookin at you Vegeta) and the new form literally started a whole new part of Dragon Ball.

Then came Ressurection F, the U6 saga, Future Trunks coming back, the Tournament of Power, the new Broly movie and finally 2 new antagonists, Moro and Gas.

That all started because of Battle of Gods.

Biggest plot point of Dragon Ball ever and the second-best Dragon Ball movie to date.

Battle of gods marks the return of the much beloved franchise. It's story may not be as "serious" as the ones the Funimation-dubbed DBZ fans remember, but it certainly has the familiar goofy story telling and comedy of the early dragon ball.

Just know that if you're expecting an epic worthy of the title 'Battle of Gods' you may be disappointed. However, if you're a true fan of the show, and not some ignoramus raging about how there wasn't enough action, this movie will give the nostalgia trip of your life. The humor was perfect, the animation was beautiful, and the action, although it doesn't pick up until towards the end, is a real treat to watch. In the end, Battle of Gods is sure to please fans of the series and offer a delightful feeling of nostalgia.

If you check out the wikipedia article on this movie you can actually see that this movie came out last year. Thought that was something interesting to point out.

The movie was done well from an anime perspective and was exactly what I was hoping for. I would have given this a 4-5 if it looked just like the TV show but you can tell that they did polish it up and do a better job on this movie. The story was interesting but the ending was almost downright terrible. Me and the guy in front of me watching this movie were just disappointed at how it ended. The humor made me laugh and it did poke some fun at itself along the way.

Anyone who loved watching the TV show will definitely like this movie.… Expand

Battle of Gods is a grossly overrated Dragon Ball Movie. It's passable but no more. The action scenes are good, the comedy is also OK (especially Vegeta singing) but the fact that they introduce a powerful new transformation, two powerful new characters (both of which Vegeta and King KaiBattle of Gods is a grossly overrated Dragon Ball Movie. If this is how Dragon Ball is going to go then I think Mr. Toriyama should have handed over control to someone else by now.… Expand
