Okay romantic comedy..too many characters, too many plots and subplots; really liked it until the end which I though was quite hokey..much better him just leaving in rain soaked cadillac going to nowhere

Very sad, being as Robert Altman is my favorite American filmmaker of all-time. I think he did a terrific job, for the most part, it was the story that just wasn't very appealing. The final two minutes of the film dropped this a point and a half. I got it, but it was too out there for a film this "normal". Expand

funny during a couple times but all and all it was by far the worst movie I have ever seen. [***SPOILERS***] How did he end up in Mexico? Dallas is about 500 miles from Mexico and a tornado couldnt throw you more than 5 miles. too normal to funny during a couple times but all and all it was by far the worst movie I have ever seen. From the annoying entry scene where our brains waste away with the patients in the waiting room (yes I know that's literally the point), all the way through to the insanely ridiculous tornadic ending, I continued in awestruck unbelief that a Richard Greer film could possibly be so bad. This horrid filmmaking is still the stuff of legend in our family. WOW!! Expand
