It literally hurt to watch this movie. Painfully irrelevant dialogue that does nothing to add to or move the the story. Teenage love interest scenes completely artificial. Strange repeat shots of the hoist mechanism chain, and later of Ashley Judd's impossibly full plate of prawns. Attempts at dramatic moments create laugh-out-loud absurdity. Best part of the movie is that, no matter how slow the crawl may be, it does finally end, the few brief appearances by the indomitable Morgan Freeman, and the raw rescue footage shown at credits. Best to wait until the movie streams, and then don't watch it then, either.… Expand

ok since 2010 i have watched Dolphin Tale, i hadn't expect 4 years later they decided to write a sequel. I had not been planning to watch movie that was based on the true story. The cast is back and their all grown up, their acting is notok since 2010 i have watched Dolphin Tale, i hadn't expect 4 years later they decided to write a sequel. I had not been planning to watch movie that was based on the true story. The cast is back and their all grown up, their acting is not good, terrible i should say but their ok. The Director of the first dolphin tale is back i can not take this movie seriously the comedy is not good , the acting sucks, but at least they tried there is nothing to seriously in the story Grade C… Expand

It sure is a movie about...Dolphins...There really isn't to much more to say really. I mean it's like the first one, but they needed to make more money off little girls forcing their families to go watch this train wreck.

This film was utter garbage. Yes, it did have cute Dolphins in it and it was based on a true story. But other than that, it was mind-numbingly boring and painful to watch. Even watching it from a child's perspective it was bad.
The fact that cinemas even showed it was startling to me. It was like one of those low budget Nickelodeon TV movies that nobody watches.
The boy and the girl characters (whose names I didn't care to learn) were very annoying. The acting was bad in both parts too. It's funny; when you look at the cast list on IMDb, Morgan Freeman's actually at the top - and he was in it for less than fifteen minutes. I'm thinking whoever produced this train wreck paid him big bucks for this movie. Either that or he loves Dolphins.
The film was unintentionally laughable, too. The whole time I was like, "God. What are Hollywood doing?!"… Expand

hello. this movie was the **** most boring ass hary balls movie i have ever seen, **** that the first 1 and i sucked the dolphins balls and killed so yeah it sucked

If I had to choose Winter or Willy. I choose winter all the way, because willy sucks. Her aged mother, Panama, is close to death - regulation say that Winter cannot be housed alone, and if they cannot pair her with another dolphin, they will lose her to another aquarium. This movie only works as a family film with little kids watching cute dolphins, but that's not the case here, because they is not enough dolphins in this movie, the movie follows are boring cast of humans that we don't care about. You know my biggest problem from Dawn of the planet of the apes are the human in that movie are freaking dull and the apes are more interesting, well in that movie they didn't show much of the humans and that was good. The acting was fine in this movie and this is not a terrible movie, this is just a movie that will be forgotten in a couple of years time or maybe they might do a third one but we will see. This is not a bad movie. It has it's problems but a movie is not perfect.… Expand

Dolphin Tale 2 A mediocre movie with decent acting but it's main problem is being forgettable. Why did they make this movie? Like it's not a bad movie but it's seems pointless to make a sequel to Dolphin Tale.

This is a very forgettable movie. The story isn't as good as the oiginal, but it is inspiring. Sadly, I felt bored watching this. I think it wasn't a good choice for a sequal.
