Funny, fun, amazing music, and most of all, it's inspirational and teaches you a lot about the music industry and how to make it and how to fail. It was an adventure through and through and at no point did it get slow or boring. Yeah, baby... except, the "stalking" behavior of the "insane" outcast musician Anton Newcombe seems blown out of proportion and played up, even by Newcombe, but especially by the Dandies, for effect. Most intriguing of all is Zia McCabe's admission of "paying for all of the coke" that funded the Dandy Warhols' collective musical inspiration - when it seems that the Brian Jonestown Massacre's decline is blamed on drug use?! One of, if not the best rockumentary made.
This amazing and at times off the rails look at how 2 friends/bands became enemies, acts almost as an instructional video to all aspiring rock stars.
Must see.
