Probably the worst Bruce Willis has acted in his entire career. The movie was a complete joke.

Death Wish with Bruce Willis is another vigilante film and a remake of the original "Death Wish" movie with Charles Bronson which is a classic... If anything Death Wish with Bruce Willis insults the original film and Bronson. Poor.… Expand

Not sure why they even did this movie, I watched all the death wishes from 1-5, the series from 2 on was cheesy but cool at times, the 1st movie is the exception it was dark and Bronson never fully got the guys back that messed up his lifeNot sure why they even did this movie, I watched all the death wishes from 1-5, the series from 2 on was cheesy but cool at times, the 1st movie is the exception it was dark and Bronson never fully got the guys back that messed up his life per say, not gonna spoil it for you, but that is what made it awesome, in it's own way this movie is basically a Willis red movie with a death wish name tacked on it feels vary generic and will easily get forgotten in the list of films that are gritty with a hint of whimsical which are pretty much the norm these days, if you watched the older death wish movies you need to Watch the 2018 movie: Death Kiss which I would consider to be death wish 6 if you have not seen it and watched all the older movies do check it out.… Expand

Some people may like this film a lot, but Death Wish is a mean spirited flick that felt like an advert for the NRA. The law will fail you so you need to buy guns...lots of them. Charles Bronson was much better in this role and the original was a better movie. Willis seems to sleepwalk through his role as the movie takes a long time to get up to steam. At times it will struggle to hold your attention. Dr. KerseyCharles Bronson was much better in this role and the original was a better movie. Dr. Kersey just isn't a believable or consistent character in this film. And Willis is not believable in the role. It's not a good fit to the concept to change Kersey's job to medical surgeon. It adds nothing to the story. I think this re-make could have been much better with better direction and a better script. Willis is practically stone-faced in the role. A bland action film that is easily forgettable. Eli Roth has proven to be one of the worst directors in Hollywood and while it can't get much worse than Green Inferno, he brings nothing new to the genre. Then comes Bruce Willis who isA bland action film that is easily forgettable. The fact that certain critics are taking this movie seriously to talk about how this movie was released in bad timing is an insult to the issues about gun reform. This movie is too boring to be taken seriously. It tries to be this trashyThe fact that certain critics are taking this movie seriously to talk about how this movie was released in bad timing is an insult to the issues about gun reform. This movie is too boring to be taken seriously. It tries to be this trashy B-movie action flick and trying to talk about vigilantism and PTSD seriously, but instead it is a dull, by-the-numbers action film with no real thrills and any attempts at trying to tackle PTSD is barely mentioned (only one scene and it only goes on for less than one minutes) and you can get better and more interesting movies that tackle vigilantism. It's just a slog to sit through, not helped by the bland direction Eli Roth gives. The only remotely enjoyable thing about the film is how Bruce Willis is clearly foaming it in. If you think about his what his eternal thoughts are during filming and why he never emotes at all, it is quite fun. More fun than this shoot-em-up movie is!… Expand

This movie is trash I walked out after 30 mins to see something else. Good luck if you waste your time in this garbage movie. I will flop and go straight to Blu Ray or DVD. You will see.
