Deadpool was a gamble similar to 2014 Guardians of the Galaxy, a gamble that succeeded tremendously. This movie washes away all the seriousness that previous marvel movies contained. Instead it stays true to the main character Deadpool, with its comedy and breaking the 4th wall. There are tons of jokes that are perfect in its execution and every time brought the audience into laughter. Given its R rating, gore, violence, nudity and language, I suggest kids to not see this film. This film is R rated for a reason.

Deadpool is an origin story but it is shown through flashbacks that happen throughout the first half of the film. It did and excellent job depicting Wade Wilson’s (Ryan Reynolds) life and the creation of Deadpool. The supporting cast did well in providing additional comedy. Each supporting character shows that they are truly present, not some side character that is instantly forgotten. The villains however were lackluster. Francis aka Ajax, the dish wash soap, wasn't that big of an evil person like The Joker or Loki. Yes he has abilities but it did not portray him as this invincible being. He just seems like a small stepping stone for Deadpool. Francis ally Angel doesn't offer much as well, or even talk much. She is more powerful than Ajax, being able to hold her own during her fight with Colossus. In the end she is just a forgotten bad guy, most likely not going to appear in the sequel.

The obvious star of the film is Ryan Reynolds. He just roast his roles in previous superhero films, Wolverine Origins and Green Lantern. Think of Deadpool as when Seth Macfarlane hosted the Oscars in 2013, making fun of celebrities, jokes that actually work. Sure there are a few controversial ones but you know that he did and excellent job that you want him to come back for another year, maybe more. Since this is a real Marvel film, unlike that train wreck Fantastic Four, there has got to be a Stan Lee appearance. Avoiding spoilers, I want to say that Stan Lee did that cameo well and in the most perfect place possible. If you have any doubts on watching this movie, doubt no more, it will be worth the ticket price and multiple viewings. TRUST ME!

This movie is basically 1.5 hours of toilet humor quality banter. If you are into that, great, you will love this movie. I am not. Why, you might ask? Because i am no longer in middle school and even back then, I wasn't really into the fart jokes or crude humor. Thus for me, this movie was boring as hell.

The movie spends most of its time in character development and this is one of few movies where I really wanted it to stop and just become a mindless action flick. It was tedious watching the story development because we already got the point in the 1st 15 minutes of the movie. But they kept hammering the characters in with more toilet banter scenes that did not add anything to movie or the characters. You dont feel any different about Deadpool or his girlfriend 1 hour in vs 10 minutes in because the development is repetitive.

Anyway, Deadpool does his thing by breaking the 3rd wall and making jokes through fights would be fun if the humor were a little smarter rather than from the mind of a 12 year old looking for the approval of his peers. The actions, when it did happen, was ok but again nothing new. Lots of slow motion clips and CGI but it looked good. Colossus looked a bit too clay like for me but it was acceptable.

The problem is the story, and characters were simply not interesting. The bad guys were also equally lame and the film is riddled with plot holes albeit its a comedy (I think)... Not my kind of film. I would have enjoyed it more if I were 12 or 13.

There is no point to this movie, and these cgi crap fests have gotten way out of hand. This movie can distract you for an hour forty but most likely you'll be bored and sick of looking at a terribly rendered Colossus and Deadpool spinning in the air for no reason. Also, having Gina Carano fight a totally CGI character is just a waste of her talents. I'm still waiting for a superhero movie to actually have some good fight scenes; it's like they have never seen a Samo Hung and Jackie Chan movie. Expand

+ acceptable camera work and score
+ creative ways of killing people

- way too many bad jokes
- below average acting and CGI
- too short
- can't be a standalone movie since almost nothing happened (half of the movie was about Wade before he became Deadpool)

Conclusion: Deadpool is an acceptable comedy movie thanks to either the good jokes and the self irony. It's pretty obvious that Marvel primarily focused upon that. They actually surprised me. Marvel movies tend to be very bad yet over hyped, but this one was pretty cool. Good movie for watching with a few friends, but I would recommend you to wait until it's released on DVD/Blu-Ray. At a few jokes, you won't be hearing anything but laughter in the cinema.

Not being into comic books or films made from them I haven’t seen too many Marvel films but I do remember “Ant Man” this year mainly for the humor, especially the laugh out loud one liners and sight gags plus the special effects. “Deadpool”Not being into comic books or films made from them I haven’t seen too many Marvel films but I do remember “Ant Man” this year mainly for the humor, especially the laugh out loud one liners and sight gags plus the special effects. “Deadpool” tries to be funny with many homoerotic jokes and also sight gags, most of which aren’t funny though many in the audience were laughing.

The main thing that will be remembered about the movie will be many horrendous shots of gratuitous violence. Yes we know the actors got up and went to the food table after the scenes but hands and heads being chopped off, men being kneed, punched in the crouch, women being brutalized will last longer than the movie being remembered.

The most positive aspects of the movie is the energetic performance of Ryan Reynolds giving his all, not only in making fun of his real image but in showing most of all his body! He has a sweet romance with Morena Baccarin who is as sexy looking, acting and talking as Reynolds. He is also responsible for the breaking of the 4th wall and talking to the audience consistently which sometimes works but most times doesn’t.

The opening credits are one of the best parts of the movie and the drawings, and written comments, at the end is another while sadly the rest of the movie doesn’t reach the height of either. With its raunchy, dirty, teenage humor, along with sex scenes and very visual violence, “Deadpool” earns an R rating but there were many teens in the auditorium.

Why with compliments for Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, and the entire supporting cast giving fine performances in a comic book way, the opening and closing credits, a sweet, sexy love story, am I not putting this on the same level as “Ant Man”? The answer is too much of the screenplay is made of clichés, often told jokes and repeated action/violence scenes from similar made Marvel movies.

Should you decide to see it you have to see it on a movie screen or otherwise you will miss out on the never ending special effects which are the cornerstone of Marvel movies. Oh yes, and buff bodies both male and female!

I thought for certain I would like this film from all the rave reviews it had gotten but boy I was wrong. The story was extremely predictable and the fact he made fun of himself in previous films got old real fast. Ryan Reynolds was bad in Green Lantern and even worse in Deadpool. If this film thinks it’s so clever, why didn’t it make a comment on Rob’s lack of abilty to draw feet? And surely Deadpool could have made a cutting remark about Rob’s legendary Captain America illustration? But no – we get jokes about the Spin Doctors and Wham instead. All the best jokes are in the trailer. The audience laughed their backs off at that line about the brown trousers.
If Deadpool was reviewing this movie, he would hate it. It’s that bad.

There were some rough patches in the dialogue, along with a few forced and not-as-funny-as-they-thought jokes and scenes, but overall it was a surprisingly solid experience. The bar was definitely set fairly high and, while not a full-on Deadpool comics fan, I am fond of superhero comics and Marvel comics in particular so it was fantastic to see a spot-on Deadpool performance from Ryan Reynolds. I think he actually was born to play this role. It was also very refreshing and fun to see the full potential of a superhero movie with an R-rating.

That just won't cut it anymore. There was so much opportunity to do something more interesting and they blew it. The story should always come first. As it is, we get a bog standard superhero movie with cussing and gore. Deadpool is undeniably a good character, and would work brilliantlly as supporting character in an X-Men movie, but the supporting characters in this are either really annoying (Weasel) or non-entities (everybody else). So many, in fact, that many lines went right over the heads of the entire audience. Lines that were supposed to be funny sometimes weren't. You would have to have a vast knowledge of pop culture to get all the jokes. Still, many lines were funny. The film has a justified "R" rating, for both language and violence. Ryan Reynolds was terrific in the film and was definitely the right actor for the job. The action sequences, like so many today, are so overly edited that you can't always tell what is going on. I can't say it enough, this movie is hilarious. Deadpool has always been a funny guy. Thanks to Ryan Reynold's excellent comedic timing and perfect portrayal of the character to go alongside the razor sharp writing, I was laughing out loud constantly throughout.

It's not just the portrayal of Deadpool that's great either. Everyone does well and FOX's X-Men universe finally gives some respectable portrayals of their non-Wolverine characters. Colossus is finally done justice.

With it's constant ability to not take itself too seriously and make reference after reference, you can't help but laugh. Especially if you're clued in on the X-Men movies and Ryan Reynold's career. It is also surprisingly adept at inserting actual emotion and genuine romance at the right moments. Mix that with the fantastic action, albeit a little too heavy on the CGI, and you've got the more original superhero flicks to come out recently. A more adult alternative to the genre.

While it does follow the typical origin story, it does so in a way that feels exciting. Like I said, it's not entirely a superhero movie. It's emphasis on laughs and unexpected romance give it an edge in the genre. Not to mention, it's just really darn hilarious. This is, without a single doubt, the Deadpool movie we wanted.

The violence, blood, and gore was extreme. It made Pulp Fiction look like a G-rated movie, but I guess times have changed over the past twenty years. The first hour of the movie was pretty disjointed – violence, love scenes, and a bit of history of who Dead Pool was. The humor really was what carried the movie as the story was not that interesting – including the explanation of how he became Dead Pool (kind of far-fetched). The last hour picked up a bit as far as a story-line beyond the graphic violence. In the end, can’t rate this more than just an average movie – credit for the humor and take away for the unnecessary level of blood and gore and also lack of an interesting story or villain. I am fine if they never come up with a sequel to this movie. Expand

It is a film that thinks it is the smartest guy in the room and takes every opportunity to show witty and smart he is. While Deadpool can be very, very funny at times and had me in stitches a few times, some jokes were just incredibly forced or not funny. I would say the film hit on maybe just shy of 50% of its jokes. The film also thought that by mocking supehero formula and casting stereotypes, it could get away with doing the same things, but it would be fine because they made jokes about it. Tragically, this is not the case as Deadpool is incredibly generic and, no, swearing and violence does not make it unique. In that regard, Deadpool is like a horny teenager who just discovered swearing and plays Call of Duty all day. After a while, his shtick becomes annoying and you want it to just end, but do not worry, he is still going 100 MPH. The backstory is handled awfully and slows the movie down too much, plus the villain is poorly constructed and the conflict in the film is just not interesting. Finally, the action is poorly choreographed and directed. Overall, Deadpool may be middling entertainment, but it is nowhere near as funny as it thinks it is. Expand

Ryan Reynolds knocked it outta the park as Deadpool, he was fantastic in this movie, and it definitely shows that he was born to play Deadpool. just don't seal his mouth shut like a **** clown. Ryan Reynolds is a great **** talker, so Deadpool needs to be a great ****-talker too. another highlight to this movie was the humor. right from the start, the opening credits were perfect. the thing that makes the humor great is that it's almost a spoof, but in reality it's not a spoof. it's Deadpool humor and it's perfect! seriously, this has to be the funniest Marvel movie i've ever seen in years! and the action scenes are exciting too. usually in comic book movies, the studio would too scared to be rough and violent, so they always went with a PG-13 like vibe. here, it's nothing like that. when the **** goes down, it goes down. and it's bloody, it's violent without being apologetic. and it's not just chop chop here, and shoot, shoot there. no, it's really clever, and i loved seeing that. Colossus was great too, and i love seeing these X-Men characters again. and the thing is: they're total opposites, like Colossus's a good guy and Wade Wilson's more of a **** with a twisted sense of humor. so like i said, you guys should definitely go out and see Deadpool, cause it's definitely the funniest comedy movie and the most fun i've had in a movie since The Force Awakens Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Good jokes and combat, but overall "Deadpool" is a character who tries to be original hero, but ends up being an vulgar comedian. And the plot.. holy sh1t! So he's trying to kill the people who saved his life, just because he is no longer pretty enough so he can date with his girlfriend? Mothafu5ker you would be dead otherwise! And i believe the high ratings over this movie are because it was very anticipated! Overall Deadpool is a poor combination between Michelangelo (from TMNT) and Spider-Man. Expand

Deadpool is full on with its adult themes, there's plenty of nudity, violence, gore and foul language. I wouldn't reccomend taking your kids to it XD.

Good: Full of action, comedy was on point most of the time, interesting characters, compelling story and the 4th wall breaking was FANTASTIC.

Bad: Comedy was a meh at other times, villain sucked. People talk it up too much to i was a little disappointed with what i got.

Overall deadpool was pretty good and i recommend checking it out even if you don't like comic book movies since this is very different from most of them.

A few X-men cameos if you want to call it that were great and did well for the movie. An okay love story, a Deadpool love story. The action was great, pacing was good (unlike my reviews). Would I suggest this movie? Yes, if you love comic book movies, action and stupid jokes. No if your looking for something like the The Avengers, or something with a deep story, and serious. Expand

Unfortunately much of the action, and Deadpool's motivation hinges on a couple really weak plot points: "Will my girlfriend still find me hot?" "The bad guy got away because I was busy cracking jokes." Quite a few of the jokes fall flat, and the flash-back device is used to death, to the point that a key action sequence stutters in and out in a rather bizarre way. A fun movie, but not really the breakout super-hero movie that it's been sold as, it's really just like an R-rated X-Men movie. Expand

Its a nice rebound for Fox after the Fantastic Four debacle and its also nice to see Ryan Reynolds make something that isn't critically panned as a bad movie. The story is very simple and to the point: Guy meets girl, things go bad, guy gets superpowers and girl gets kidnapped and so on. I'm not saying that like its a bad thing but for this film it works seeing as how this is nothing more than an origin story as Deadpools first movie. The performances, like the movie were solid with Ryan Reynolds carrying the film in one of his more convincing roles that actually makes use of his witty charm. Where Deadpool suffers, however is its script. Deadpools script has many small and somewhat noticeable loopholes as well as suffers from a somewhat dull and lifeless villian in Ajax. The jokes in the movie were also spoiled for me as most of Deadpools punchlines and quibs could be seen in the trailers which I felt hurt the film in more ways than one. Overall, Deadpool is a good movie and I recommend it to those just looking for something fun to watch that could provide a few laughs along the way. Expand

We get finally the “Merc with a Mouth”, hugely entertaining humor, 4th wall breaks and an entertaining story that takes itself not too serious. Also the rest of the cast is excellent and I don't want to replace anyone. Lets start with the beginning. The Deadpool character is a fan favorite. He is unconventional, entertaining and self aware 4th wall breaking. Deadpool can be or is a mixture of hero, antihero, villain and comic relief. In the right hands the character is pure comedic gold but can have also good serious tones and problems. When we got Deadpools first appearance in “X-Men Origins Wolverine” (played by Ryan Reynolds too) we all were shocked. The character was not even in name only like Deadpool and a universal disappointment. So we were skeptic when the Deadpool movie was announced. However all our fears were pointless. Ryan Reynolds fully delivered and the writers / director nailed everything. It is what we wanted. A humorous ride with lovable characters, good action and lots of fan service. The characters are another strength. I already praised Ryan Reynolds so lets go to the others. Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano who I am huge fan of, Brianna Hildebrand, T.J. Miller, Leslie Uggams and Karan Soni are excellent. I think there was no bad performance. The humor is as expected, dark, satirical, self aware and respectless. It works really well. Overall this is a 10/10. Maybe it is a bit weaker but they put so much effort in this movie that a lower rating feels wrong. I recommend the movie for the humor, style and characters. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As always it's what you don't see in the trailer that kills a film. In Deadpool's case it's the sappy moments that drag it down. You know the ones where the music gets all sad and you're supposed to feel that this is important and dramatic as if you had some Pavlovian response. Much time is wasted on unnecessary long origin story. Instead of spending time with Deadpool we are stuck with Wade and you just wish it would return to the action again.

But what's the weirdest part about this film is how basic the plot is. What would typically be a half, or even a third, of a typical superhero plot is the entire story in this film. And when you learn how small the budget was you kind of have to wonder did they simply not have enough money for a big scale action film?

And of course your enjoyment of the film will depend on your tolerance for crude, juvenile profanity that becomes old really fast. The problem is that it's so overused in this film that it looses its punch towards the end.

That's about what's bad about the film, but it has plenty of good to make up for it. The humour for one thing as this film seems more like a parody than a legitimate superhero film. Ryan Reynolds plays it perfectly, so much that you can forgive him for a certain other superhero film. The first 20 minutes or so are made of pure awesome as it's the type of action that should have been the entire film. And there's an Adventure Time watch (yes I'm including this).

Overall I ended up liking Deadpool because its good parts shine over the flaws, but after a film like Mad Max: Fury Road last year I can't say I'm not a little disappointed.

The film embodied his personality pretty amazingly. Although, I didn't feel as satisfied as I should have. It seemed that the only thing they emphasized was the humour and I didn't feel anything other than amused. If all the writers focus was equal between creating a captivating storyline and inventing jokes for Deadpool's unwavering wit, I think it would have been better. His jokes and personality basically carried the film with no other characters that seemed to really challenge him. I mean, if this is how it is in the comics, then maybe he's just not for me. I definitely had some good laughs though and the VFX was well done. It was worth seeing Ryan Reynolds fated to play this character. You could really tell how much fun he had and it's admirable. Looking forward to the sequel but I hope he's faced against a better villain. Expand

When the “Too Pool for School” is in action though, seeing him swing his dual wielded katana’s through the spleen of an enemy is truly a wondrous site. Definitely excited for the sequel, which is *SPOILER* apparently going to contain Cable (and hopefully the constant battling voices in Pool’s head). The gruesomely awesome action and adult themes is something Marvel has been missing since the days of Blade, and it is good to have them back. It is definitely worth the watch.

Deadpool is a classic example; it knows that it is a cartoonish, over-the-top superhero self-parody that gleefully pokes fun at itself, it's audience, superheroes, and popular culture in general, and it does so with style and charm. The film is violent, vulgar, and funny in turns, perfectly in keeping with the titular character himself, and it's clear the film makers "get" what Deadpool is about.

Ryan Reynolds is clearly having a ball playing the character he was perhaps always destined to since he played Hannibal King in Blade Trinity, and his enthusiasm for the project is clear in everything he does. Also worthy of note is the direction of Tim Miller, who did an excellent job for a first time director, filming better action sequences than many far more experienced directors I could think of. Both men deserve huge credit, as it's clear that the film simply wouldn't have ever been made without their determination to make it happen.

The only real criticisms one could really hold against it are a that it has fairly basic story once you allow for the time jumping, that the villain is pretty bland and not well explained, and that some of the CGI (mainly Colossus) is kind of low rent. But in the end, none of those issues ultimately detract in any significant way from what is an engaging, genuinely funny, and thoroughly enjoyable super anti-hero romp.

Having said all that, it's also fair to say that Deadpool is not for everyone. There is no doubt that this film will rub some people the wrong way. The R18 rating is not misplaced, so if you dislike graphic violence, nudity, cursing, and puerile humour, this is probably one to avoid. Maybe don't take your mum to see it.

Well, it won't disappoint you in terms of Deadpool as a character. The movie, the plot, the actors(except Ryan Reynolds) are nothing special. But the people who know Deadpool mostly don't care for that. They care about seeing their favorite wise-cracking comic book anti-hero in the big screen, hoping that he would be just as he should be. And I gotta say, Ryan Reynolds did a very good job as Deadpool. I honestly can't imagine anyone else more suited for the role, other than him. Again, the movie itself is nothing great. Bland acting, dragging scenes, lots of CGI (you can tell the studio has had some budget constraints), and a mediocre story-line. This is all offset by the humor, the tremendous amount of easter eggs and inside jokes, and the well researched, and skill portrayal of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool.

Go see this movie. It's funny, dark, shocking (in terms of jokes) and most fans of Deadpool will not be disappointed. Also, 4th wall breaks within 4th wall breaks!

However, aside from these characteristics, 'Deadpool' is an over-the-top, vulgar and disappointing superhero movie. It loses momentum after the first act, and has an inconsistent tone. Aside from Deadpool (portrayed well by Ryan Reynolds) and Weasel (T.J. Miller), all the characters are one dimensional and forgettable. At the movie's start, the cast credits the characters as, 'A Hot Chick', 'A British Villain' and 'A CGI Character'. These are the only traits these characters exhibit, and parody or not, we want to at least root for the characters and relate to them, not forget about them immediately after watching. The movie forces in some overly vulgar moments, including an entire montage devoted to sex scenes. The movie also becomes what it is meant to parody in the final act, which is an over the top fight scene on a Helicarrier.

In short, 'Deadpool' is a messy, bloated and disappointing comic book adaptation.

The script was awfully awkward, the jokes rudimentary funny. Paradoxically, the target audience (kids) can't watch the movie because it's R rated, and those who can watch it, have long grown up from that type of humor. What could be initially seen as captivating, its self irony, ends up in failure. It's a silly kind of self irony that can only appeal to the simple minded.

Sadly, it was a scarcely funny, often awkward, movie.

It's own self-awareness, Ryan Reynold's brilliant sense of humour and the hilarious script make for constant laughs and comic relief. But this is only made possible by a suprisingly good story with a well-developed lead character. You actually care for Wade Wilson and his goal, and the character's use of humour can even be viewed as his own coping mechanism. It's great bloody fun and well worth a watch
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: It doesn't really have a 'middle,' it has it's long first act, and a great last act, but there's nothing in between to flesh the story out. Could they not have cut the first act down a bit to flesh out the story a little?
VERDICT: 'Deadpool' is funny and fresh. It's self-aware humour makes it the funniest comic-book movie out there.

It makes fun of the confusing X-Men timeline, it makes fun of Fox, of Ryan Reynolds. It makes fun of everything.

My review is not a ten only because the story is a little cliche, but it definitely won't ruin your experience.

Thoroughly enjoyable, a few nicely choreographed fight sequences I can remember and a couple of laughs along the way.
It's the kind of movie you do not regret watching but if it's coming on television a second time, you would rather switch to see what else is there.

It was good, and I'm definitely not going to hold it up to hype, as that would not be fair, but whenever he wasn't making a joke or there was a serious scene, it just felt... bad. It brought out the bad in the movie. Like, if felt like a generic superhero movie.

Now, the humor in this movie was phenomenal, and apart from a few **** jokes, it was spot on. I guess in that department it did it's job well, and I guess that's what it sold it's, well, I wouldn't say 'gimmick', but selling point on. I loved it only for the humor, and it was also good at introducing people like me to the character of Deadpool. Sure some of the joke WERE a bit obvious, and they only referenced chimichangas once and taco ZERO TIMES WHICH WAS A MAJOR PART OF DEADPOOL'S CHARACTER but still, it did make a few good jokes.

So, all in all, this was my first review, and I will improve on my reviews in the future. Goodbye.

At the theater, there were signs all over stating that this movie was NOT FOR KIDS. Well, if people would get their heads out of their *sses and actually bone up on the source material first before just blinding going to see a movie, (or maybe pay attention the the big "R" rating), then people would know not to take younger viewers to see things like this.

Violence - check.
Vulgarity - super check.
Sex and nudity - I'm gonna touch myself tonight

The action is solid, the comedy is excellent (if you're not offended easily), the acting is decent....
My only real complaint is there are some scenes that just feel out of place. Namely the ones involving some of the other Marvel characters involved. I know that at least a basic introduction is in order, but it, for me, felt out of place and slowed the pacing down.

None the less, I enjoyed it. My wife of 13 years enjoyed it. The surrounding audience seemed to enjoy it (indicated by the repeated outbursts of laughter). I look forward to a sequel, and look forward to seeing what they do with a much bigger budget.

In closing, Deadpool was a fun ride, and a step in the right direction for this underused yet well liked character. But remember kids, this was an ADULT ride. The kiddie rides are over that way 8=======>

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Deadpool is here! And what more could you have asked for with this movie? Raunchy sex jokes, hilarious 4th wall breaking moments, and an amazing actor portraying our "hero". Everything in this film feels so genuine and it's apparent from the first 10 minutes that so much care was put into putting a GOOD Deadpool adaptation on the big screen. Ryan Reynolds is perfect as the Merc with the mouth and no actor could have pulled off what he did with this character. The plot is a pretty simple revenge story but that's all it really had to be. It did it's job very well and the film didn't suffer from not having a more complex story. It's a revenge story. Plain and simple. But pretty well done. The movie is done through flashback segments to Wade Wilson, his love interest, and most importantly, his journey to becoming Deadpool and the reasoning behind his hatred of Francis (Ajax). These flashbacks do the job well but do seem to carry on a little too long towards the halfway point of the movie but they did make me care about Wade Wilson and his journey to becoming Deadpool. The only real problems with Deadpool is the flashback segments get a little drawn out towards the middle of the film, and Francis was a little underdeveloped. The movie did it's job of making you hate the villain which is good but in the end you really don't know anything about him. Just that his name is Francis, he's British and he is responsible for making Wade Wilson a "testicle with teeth". Those are the only negatives to this movie. The humour of Deadpool shines so well throughout the whole movie, Ryan Reynolds kills it as this character and I cared for what was going on. What more could you ask for? Saying this, I am aware Deadpool may not be for everyone. If you don't like his humour in the comics, you won't in the movie. If you think his comedy is juvenile and disgusting, you won't like this film. And while the humour is usually very disgusting and crude it's what makes Deadpool so fun to watch. If you have a good sense of humour and want to watch a funny, well written, "super hero" movie DO NOT skip on Deadpool. This movie was perfect and came out at a perfect time in an over saturated market of super hero movies (and yes Deadpool will reference this) this movie is SO refreshing and the few negatives don't take away anything from this film. If you haven't yet, go see this movie now. You will not be disappointed. You know what you're in for just from the opening credits. Deadpool is very well done and one of the best comedies, Marvel movies and maybe even one of the best in years Expand

Fun, plenty of action, and a good story.

Deadpool is a refreshingly different "superhero". He kills, he curses, and he's fun.

One of the best comic book movies yet.
