AttrocitiesTrue and hidden history for so many decades. Due to strong roots with ortodox faith and consequently with feelings of freedom, Serbs are often victims and subject to terror of countries that want to dominate the Balkan region. Attrocities during Turkish occupation since 1452, WW1 against Austro-Hungarian Kingdom followed with Bulgaria, WW2 against Nazi Germans and their puppets Ustashe Croats. Finally, crime against peace, without consent from UN, unlawfull NATO agression during 1999. This film shows small but strong and truthful scene from many masacre camps in Croatia led by Ustashe (99% Croats) as part of their WW2 genocide agenda: 1/3 to be rebaptized from Ortodox to Romecatholic faith (over 100 priests actively took part in this sad and antichristian activity), 1/3 to be deported from Ustashe Croatia (etnic cleansic really finished in summer 1995 when 250k Serbs were forcibly expeled from Croatia !!) and 1/3 to be exterminated. Very good movie production, also acting and scenes that will be remembered for long time. Waiting to see next poduction with similiar subject to fully unmask Ustache movement and put light on real Croats history, still not verdicted by history and court. Expand

In a far more brutal way than in Germany. Nazis themselves were disgusted by more than 50 ways of killing Serbs, Jews and Roma there. The worst could not even be shown in this movie, because it would make it "unwatchable" for a normal human being. Unfortunalely, so many children had to see and feel for real. A slaughter competition was organized, with top winners cutting more than a thousand throats per day. That is why they invented a special knife called "Srbosijek" ( attached to a palm ). Let that dark episode of civilization hitting the bottom, never happen again. Expand

There have been many Holocaust movies, yet the veracity of the violence has never been achieved at this level. Heavy material, as the Jasenovac concentration camp is perhaps the most bestially brutal in WWII. The movie is high art, perhaps controversial, but comparable to Pasolini's Salo in exposing the inhumanity of clerofascism. Jasenovac death camp complex is only part of the Ustashe industry of death. The Italian soldiers who occupied half of the Croatian puppet state noticed that no food provisions were required for their camps and when they discovered what was being done to the Ortodox population, moved to protect the Serbs from Croats, even though both Italy and Croatia were allied with Hitler at the time. In fact, even Germans protested the senseless Ustasha violence that only served to push Serbs into guerrillas. Many letters and accounts from the fascist Italian military as well as Germans testify to the brutality of the Ustashe, the most well known book of testimonials is Malaparte's Kaputt. Famous is the scene, described there, in which Pavelic, leader of the Croatian puppet state, prides with a bucket with 2 kilograms of human eyes, present from his faithful Ustashe. This movie covers some unseen ground both in the subject depicted and in the stylistic choices of portraying the bottom of inhumane depravity in all the gut wrenching details. Absolutely recommended for those wanting to get a fresh and shockingly true account of Holocaust and worst of the worst that people have ever perpetrated, a vision of Hell that Dante could barely imagine, yet imposed on the innocent and based on hard historical facts. We were waiting 75 years to hear stories about camps that are not actually made by Germans. According to LA times, we are not supposed to hear it because in these Jasenovac Camps largest number of murdered people are not Jews but Serbs. Reading about this movie it is made actually only on facts and testimonies of those sadistic monsters called Ustase, Croatian nazi army. What happened in Jasenovac is hard to describe because kids were killed in a way that is hard to talk about. This movie show some real stuff but again not enough to describe all horror. Good movie. Hope this is first but not last. Everyone need to see this. Expand

He knew what heBob Dylan famously said "If you have slave running through your blood or are a descent of the Klan, black people can sense that. It remains to this day. Just as Jews can sense Nazi blood, or as Serbs can sense Croat blood." He knew what he was talking about. Croats committed the most vicious part of the Holocaust - they were authors of the first death camp in WWII, and their cruel methods inspired Nazis to both make death camps and make them less barbaric, because even for the most hardened SS, what Croats did was appalling. Croats had a goal to exterminate one third of Serbs, convert one third to Catholicism, and expel the rest, an ongoing policy that also includes Croatian statewide holocaust denial and minimization, that puts Iran to shame. The only regime that had death camps specifically made for children, Ustashe are sadly celebrated and genocide is denied. There is another famous poet, Jovan Ducic, who during his exile in US during WWII made a comment about Croats and the vicious genocide they were all to merry to perpetrate. He said "Croats are the bravest people in the world, not because they have no fear, but because they have no shame!" The campaign against this movie, sponsored by the Croatian state, confirms that he, too, like Bob Dylan, knew what he was talking about. Expand

A film that shows the truth, which many are trying to hide. I know many will not like it because they do not want to deal with the truth.
