This documentary is of a special kind that fascinates me personally. Agnès Varda makes it look so simple and makes you believe it is, but the whole value of her work is the honesty of her observation.

Daguerréotypes is a fascinating look at professions that even in that period of 1975 seemed like something that had been around for quite some time and above all that carry traditions of both the area and the people in those jobs. It's just an amazing documentary.… Expand
