There is still a faint memory of when Eddie Murphy was funny. It was the 80s and the 90s. Trading places, Beverly Hills Cop and Coming to America.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I mean, this movie sometimes is funny, sometimes it's not. This movie is a cute, happy comedy, about some father that is laid off from work, and finds a way to earn money, yet spend time with his cute young son. Overall, the humor of this flick is hit or miss. Some of the humor is funny. Other times, it is nothing different than a whole comedy filled with fart jokes only the children would genuinely find funny. However, this movie is quite watchable, especially if you have a child yourself, and you can be a good daddy (or mommy, for that matter) and spend some time with them!… Expand
