It is a very bad movie. The San Francisco Chronicle critic is not only right but also courageous to call it like it is. It's not because a movie springs from noble sentiments that it is good! The Vietnamese and French characters are laughable clichés, there's something ironical here about racism, isn't it? So many scenes are ham-fisted. It lacks any artistic qualities so it tries to compensate with a tedious history lesson that is less professional than the majority of FREE Youtube videos on the subject. This feels to me like a Black Lives Matter exploitation.… Expand
