I did think it was reasonably amusing and an easy watch to start with but the plot became really quite weak certainly mid way through, although I can't say it was exactly unwatchable but I certainly felt quite distracted and some scenes made me cringe. I wasn't entirely comfortable with the Australian stereotypes present, especially the depiction of the aborigines, which seemed particularly un-PC by modern day standards. Still, there were some amusing moments, slapstick type moments with the titular character in New York, accidentally becoming involved in other peoples situations, to put it one way. There is some reasonable choreography present and its a reasonably alright watch for the first half but the 2nd half lets it down. Overall, I'm not greatly impressed but I suppose it could be worse. I wouldn't especially recommend it as such, no. Expand

It's the sequel to the original Crocodile Dundee film.... I did think once upon a time the original was much better but not sure if they are equal now due to how good Crocodile Dundee II actually is.. Paul Hogan returns as Dundee and him and Sue Charlton played by Linda Kozlowski are living in New York so it's basically continuing on from the first... Some dude named Bob Tanner in Colombia takes pictures of a druglord killing somebody and Bob ends up dead. The druglord gets his men to kidnap Sue Charlton because they are convinced Bob sent her a letter and the film containing evidence of the murder. Then Crocodile Dundee storms their fortress with the help of a gang and rescues Sue in a clever way. Later Dundee and Sue hide out in Australia waiting for the druglord and his men to pursue them and it gets even grittier from there and pretty entertaining.... Crocodile Dundee II has many great moments like a jumper trying to throw himself off a building and Dundee himself nearly falls off it while trying to persuade him not to. We have Dundee dangling a badguy from rope upside down at the top of a building and Dundee even smashes through a window. We have great humour, shootouts, pursuits, great music and more fun and adventure than the first so it's a great sequel and there's some action and violence in this one unlike the original. Excellently directed I'd say this is a great film and follow up to the original. Also stars Juan Fernandez and Hechter Ubarry as Rico and of course John Meillon. Expand
