We justThis is the third movie in the franchise and honestly, I can't see how it could be better or justify its existence. Despite maintaining a certain fidelity to what was told before, the film has nothing interesting or truly relevant. We just took a bunch of Critters and put them in an urban apartment building to terrorize and kill its residents... of course, a small group already knew what they were and what they could mean, in terms of destruction, at the right time. Charlie reappears to help.

The movie is idiotic, the script has a lot of truly surreal and unbelievable stuff, not going beyond what we already expected and we've seen (much better executed) in the two previous films. It's a cheap, very low-budget film, loaded with clichés and predictability, and where everything is done in a way that compensates with comedy for the weaknesses of everything else, from plot to effects.

The cast does not deserve a particular note or mention, neither for merit nor for its demerit. I think that he did not do more than what was strictly required of him, and that he did not receive material to work with dignity. Even so, I leave two small notes that I think are pertinent: the first is the return of Don Keith Oper to the role of Charlie, who also contributed a lot to making the actor famous; finally, I still want to highlight the debut of Leo DiCaprio, still far from being the great actor we know.
