This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A moody sensual film exploring passions at a girls boarding school. Ms Green does well with the confused lead character. There is no depth to why she is as she is. The sexual relationship borders on the creepy as the girls figure to be early to mid-teens. The story is predictable so the acting must win out. It almost does, but not quite. It is two films. the first half is spirited, open; the sexual tension on the surface. But I feel what is coming. The letter half becomes dark as the real Miss G comes out. I did not feel empathetic towards her just that she should be locked up before doing harm, but alas too late. The girls perfectly played with just a touch of Lord Of The Flies. C- Expand
