It talks about female empowerment in a sexist, cliche and tremendously boring story.
And this mainly because the lead actress, Malin Åkerman doesn't seem to be really interested in the role, and if your protagonist is unconvincing, the sameIt talks about female empowerment in a sexist, cliche and tremendously boring story.

It tics all the boxes as per commanded by the deep state.
Most characters are gay (for no reason), marijuana is cool and good for you and police are bad.

I've read that this was expecting to parallel somehow The Fight Club. Is this a joke? This just another hardship overcoming romantic film that is more parallel to Karate Kid.

Fight Club is another genre. Where are those magazine critics instructed?

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. To me (note when I say fight club I am talking about the Original.), it could be better (Like the first movie.) The first movie, the first movie is better, In every way, it shows a lot more good than evil. Fight club it self is more better, because it says "first rule of fight club is don't talk about fight club". And one scene in fight club, that says "The first rule is don't talk about fight club". Which then that turns into a whole new thing, They talk about the fight club, to get more members. Which to get more members = more chaos which = more destruction to the rich (the ending explains this: Tyler and Martha watch the world explode/city explode.) Then they have way more. power until, The real Tyler (there are 2 the invasion of Tyler, and the real Tyler.) The fake Tyler: has a high sex drive. Who is stronger than the whole fight-club.
The real Tyler: is stuck in a dead-end job while being apart of the fight-club.
So moral of the story:
Watch the original, not the remake it's dumb. If you wanna watch the movie, I'd wait until it's free.… Expand
