Thought this was wonderfully surprising. Felt full of life and charm, albeit a movie that seemingly ended where it began.

Cha Cha Real Smooth is quite a nice little film overall, Cooper Raiff did a pretty good job directing everything from the movie direction, his own characters and others, i think he is a likeable characters, so do Dakota Johnson, while i wouldn't say the relationship thing between Andrew and Domino click that perfectly, but Andrew and Lola relationship steal my heart, i even get quite emotional at the end of the film because of Andrew and Lola relationship, the story is not something that amazing or great, it's a pretty familiar story for a movie, i also feel like the rest of the film there is really nothing special other than again Andrew and Lola, but overall Cha Cha Real Smooth is still invested enough and pretty good enough little film to watch.

Cha Cha Real Smooth contains a soul that defines it. It will gratify viewers with its humanity and stunningly relatable scenarios.

Cha Cha Real Smooth has more of a personal connection to me with how it treats leaving home while you still have a younger sibling there. It really resonated with me and I’m not ashamed to say that the final scene of the film almost made me cry. It hit very close to home. The performances here are great. Major props to Cooper Raiff for Directing, Writing, and starring in this because the writing and his performance were fantastic. His direction was pretty good but the writing and acting outshined it. His character feels very realistic. He gets in over his head a lot but tries his best to make others feel happy and he usually succeeds at it. Dakota Johnson did a great job as well along with Vanessa Burghardt who plays her daughter. All of these characters that Raiff wrote are great. They feel personal and well thought out and play a major impact into the story. As you can tell, it was the characters and writing that really sold me for this film because those aspects genuinely are fantastic. The music and editing were good but really weren’t anything that special. I would highly recommend checking this film out whenever it hits theaters or streaming services if you want a more personal kind of story. Expand

It's not especially outstanding or greatly memorable but it could have been duller. It was interesting to see how the parents responded to the main character, Andrew, though I was somewhat surprised when he told them that he's only 22 - he seemed a bit older than that I'd have thought, though I see the actor is only 25 (born in 1997), so I guess it wasn't far off (I'm rubbish at guessing peoples age). It was interesting the dynamics between characters, with Andrew giving advice to the younger brother, David. I thought the character development was pretty good, all things considered. I liked the personalised tshirts the main characters wear at one point. Its a bit wacky but I liked it.

Yes, I'd recommend this.

Wonderful movie.
Nobody can break your heart quite like Dakota Johnson can.
I liked the dynamics and the layers of the family. The story is not just the "will they/won't they get together relationship between Cooper Raiff and Dakota Johnson.

The story is not just the "will they/won't they get together relationship between Cooper Raiff and Dakota Johnson. Cooper Raiff's family is a seperate layered story as well.
We've all been in relationships that could go either way. Cha Cha Real Smooth ends exactly how this type of movie should end. Well done. Excellent writing/directing, and loads of heart.

Is it possible to express emotions so sincerely? I feel like a robot compared to the people in this film.

We used to get 20 movies like this a year and I used to watch 5 of them. Not much to distinguish itself here EXCEPT nobody makes em anymore so kinda glad it exists.

Pretty funny and cleverly written. Everyone does a good job for what they are given and the movie doesn't out stay its welcome.

One of the most under appreciated films from 2022. The ending almost made me cry.
