A 7.5/10. A fascinating psychological movie, and they could not have found anyone better than Remi Malek to play the lead. Not perfect in terms of pacing and coherence, and the ending should have been more impactful, but it certainly wasn'tA 7.5/10. I appreciated what Smith was trying to do with this movie, and it is overall successful, even though it doesn't connect every dot. Rami Malek does a fabulous job, but is not the boldest choice of lead, given the material. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Buster's Mal Heart is a slow descent into madness by a man overcome with grief. In watching this movie, you have multiple premises. Two of the major ones are: the Inversion plot, and the family plot. Still, having said those two major premises, it is still difficult to understand, especially for those not versed in these types of films, and even I could not understand some of it. But, the main takeaway is the philosophical and psychological implications this film has. Solid performance for Rami Malek, although you can all agree that this isn't his best, he still gives out a very copacetic performance.… Expand
