A look at the glory days and subsequent downfall of mobster Bugsy Malone; one of the points in favor of the biopic is to avoid labeling it as hero or villain, as well as the period setting and the performance of Warren Beatty.

A cast that includes Warren Beatty, Annette Bening, Harvey Keitel, Ben Kingsley, Elliott Gould and Joe Mantegna and they were directed by a still quite solid Barry Levinson.

It's a pretty damn good mob film, bit overlong but it's worth the ride.

I really enjoyed this film - the story and characters were interesting and there's good cinematography (it looked pretty stylish), plus a good cast (including a stellar performance from Warren Beatty, plus Ben Kingsley, Annette Bening andI really enjoyed this film - the story and characters were interesting and there's good cinematography (it looked pretty stylish), plus a good cast (including a stellar performance from Warren Beatty, plus Ben Kingsley, Annette Bening and Harvey Keitel). I liked the script - there was some witty dialogue and some amusing moments, as well as the grittier, violent scenes as well. I liked that some of the female characters were more than prepared to stand their own ground. I would definitely recommend this film, yes.… Expand
