Piece of Advice DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE WHILE YOUR HUNGRY!!! YOU WILL RESOLVE TO CANNIBALISM! But seriously, this was a really good film. Sometimes a movie is perfect, its rare but sometimes it happens. This is a very rare movie!

Every element of this movie works with ease and subtle perfection. There is not a bad performance by any actor involved, the script, the pace, theSometimes a movie is perfect, its rare but sometimes it happens. This is a very rare movie!

Every element of this movie works with ease and subtle perfection. There is not a bad performance by any actor involved, the script, the pace, the direction, production, heck everything about this movie makes me feel joy.

It feels like a long time since a movie made me feel warm inside.

Without doubt, one of the most enchanting and inspiring movies I've seen in many, many years. Many strong similarities with BABETTE'S FEAST, but here the characters are given so much more depth including the complicated love/hate relationshipWithout doubt, one of the most enchanting and inspiring movies I've seen in many, many years. Many strong similarities with BABETTE'S FEAST, but here the characters are given so much more depth including the complicated love/hate relationship between two brothers. One brother is unable to compromise his gift for superior food preparation, the other more practical brother simply hopes to be able to pay his bills by pleasing his customers (even if they're looking for a simple plate of spaghetti with meatballs.) Two world views that won't mesh well. A brilliant premise and it's also a genuine pleasure to watch this grand assembly of actors and actresses who continue to impress in later films. BUt, whatever greatness has followed in their individual careers, BIG NIGHT will never be topped. A perfect movie if ever there was one.… Expand
