Joel Schumacher's first time in the directors chair turns the Batman franchise into a complete farce. Batman Forever is a pretty good Batman movie, although many people would disagree. Although Michael Keaton stepped down the role of Batman, Val Kilmer did an amazing job and was just as good as being Bruce Wayne. Unlike its successor Batman forever doesn’t rely on campy humor to move along its story, despite its colorful nature the movie takes on gray turns into the young life of Bruce with very well represented flashbacks that seem to come from the mind of a truly broken man and the beautiful yet terrifying performance from both Tommy lee Jones and Jim Carrey My Favorite Batman Movie… Expand
