You need talent to make a horror-comedy work, because if one of those elements, throws the narrative out of balance, you're screwed.
And that's what happens to this movie and its mediocre results.

There was a good story here, but unfortunately, something I'm seeing recently, is that many movies involving African-American directors and actors are desperately seeking to replicate Jordan Peele's formula, and that's a problem.… Expand
