As a man I will never be able to weigh in on what motherhood entails, and I say that regardless of what the filmmaker's clearest intention was, which in my opinion is horror and unease, but this also means that from my perspective she goesAs a man I will never be able to weigh in on what motherhood entails, and I say that regardless of what the filmmaker's clearest intention was, which in my opinion is horror and unease, but this also means that from my perspective she goes overboard with it and turns an obviously visceral experience into crude episodes with many hollow scares that exclude the more authentic parts of the experience, and that if they had been blended in a more efficient way we'd be talking about a better movie.… Expand
