WTF did I just watch? Badly written. Badly acted. Terrible story. The only 2 redeeming parts of this movie are Katharine Isabelle and the body modification/suspension.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This movie goes from "alright" to "kinda cringe-y" with a dissatisfying ending. It's really a mess or anything, the journey "Mary" goes on from being a medicine student to making illegal cosmetic surgeries to *spoiler* mutilating her ex-professor is described well. It's just that I felt thoroughly bored, eventhough the movie is less than two hours long. If you are very interested in medicine or seeing how people modify their bodies, this can be somehting for you, but I'll probably never watch it again.… Expand

American Mary is kinda a horror/thriller movie however I think it tries too hard ..
