This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The storyline was forced. The story about a person who just had a breakup then she/he travels to another country/place and eventually founding love there is just too cliche. There’s no chemistry between Amanda and Sinh. If the goal is to showcase the tourism of Vietnam, I think they weren’t able to do it well. Sinh is too anoying, he keeps on repeating the full name of Amanda, even asks what’s her wish like what?? And keeps on interrupting her alone time. They also weren’t able to establish why we should hate John. Why she should Sinh over John. Lastly, the part where they announced that the company was already sold? In front of their clients? Really? It was a waste of time.. CRINGE.… Expand

The story in these Hallmark-style movies is pretty irrelevant, as they are normally stupid. But the virtue of them is the chemistry between all the actors. A splendid display of the tourism in Vietnam, and nothing more. This flick is bland, poorly acted and riddled with cliches. There's no form of chemistry between the leads, and this is especially bad seeing as it'sA tourist's guide to love

A splendid display of the tourism in Vietnam, and nothing more. This flick is bland, poorly acted and riddled with cliches.

There's no form of chemistry between the leads, and this is especially bad seeing as it's a romcom. The movie fails as a romcom, it isn't romantic and it's far from being comedic. The supporting characters are boring and poorly fleshed out, the same also goes for the leads.

The pacing was slow and the dialogues were stifled, and because the movie had no flair to it, it resulted in a boring snoozefest. The only good thing from this movie is the scenic exploration of Vietnam and the soundtrack. The movie should have been titled A tourist's guide for visiting Vietnam.
