Amazing game, far ahead of its time. Definitely the best of its genera. Underappreciated during its time like so many other hidden gems. A few people complain about the controls, it was typical in those days for some people to go completely nuts of such trivial imperfections. If you enjoy playing shoot-em-up games, this will definitely the best you'll experience. The graphics areAmazing game, far ahead of its time. Definitely the best of its genera. Underappreciated during its time like so many other hidden gems. A few people complain about the controls, it was typical in those days for some people to go completely nuts of such trivial imperfections. If you enjoy playing shoot-em-up games, this will definitely the best you'll experience. The graphics are stunning, featuring endless hand crafted 3D levels coupled with amazing special effects. Once again, this was far ahead of it's time when originally released, and has held up extremely well with age. If you can find a used copy of this game anywhere online, definitely buy it, and cherish it forever! Expand

  1. If you're looking for a more classical style of game where you can turn off your brain and annihilate wave after wave of enemies as you dodge obscene amounts of enemy fire, Xyanide is for you.

The action is great when it gets going and the bosses will bring a smile to anyone's face. Whilst disappointing in some areas, it does match its budget price point and in some respects even exceeds it.
  3. The game itself does a good job of masking the appearance of the field, maintaining an illusion of 3D, and keeping the graphics consistent.
