The Xbox Music Mixer can help you turn your living room into a karaoke lounge for parties and family get-togethers.
-
Worth its weight in gold alone due to the ability for people to move their MP3s, JPEGs, or MP3s to the Xbox and add them to the soundtrack collection. This is a nice addition to your Xbox and can provide some interesting entertainment at parties.
-
netjak"Rave Mode" looks cool, but offers little "wow" factor after a few minutes, and the "create-a-club" mode that was supposed to be deep just wasnt. It just felt like a whole bunch of promises that were never fulfilled.
-
Its jack of all trades, master of none approach will most likely alienate its primary audience, the non-hardcore gaming audience, rather than help them get on board.
-
So much potential, so little in execution.
-
Depending on what you want it for, it doesnt really impress to the extent of what we expected prior to its release.
-
I am sitting here, looking at it, and feeling kind of shafted.
-
The interface and options are somewhat lacking, but the Music Mixer could be fun to mess around with at parties and other gatherings.
-
From the lame virtual ravers to the ghastly selection of tunes (okay, some of them are good, many of them suck), Music Mixer seems like something a dad "trying to be hip" would make.
-
Instead of picking this up for your next party, I suggest snagging a few good CDs or maybe "Trivial Pursuit"... hell, even pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey is more fun.
-
The Xbox Music Mixer's laundry list of features are so poorly implemented that it simply isn't worth buying.
-
A total dud. There is nothing here that I wouldn't rather do with my PC thanks to a combination of poor feature quality, crap interface, storage limitations, stunted functionality and - let's bring something else into the equation - an hilariously optimistic price.
