While the fighting engine is still solid and the game remains fun, its total lack of significant improvements may kill any need to purchase the sequel.
-
While it's a serviceable MMA game, the UFC series has been dusted by "Pride FC" for PS2.
-
While the game has a nice look to it and plays just fine, it doesn't really stray too far from the series' original design, and as such it feels like the same thing we've been playing for three years.

-
Cheat Code CentralPersonally if you want a solid UFC fighting game, buy the first one since its cheaper and overall a better game.
-

-
GameNowFor those who aren't impressed by flashy graphics, Tapout 2 doesn't present as much innovation as other recently released fighting games on other platforms. [May 2003, p.52]
