  1. Delivers incredible new game features that turn a familiar classic into an amazing new experience.

The experience is nothing short of fantastic. While I certainly would have liked to have seen a downloadable question pack option, there are enough questions to truly tax your brain for a decent amount of time.
  3. Expect many to rejoice in trivia paradise online or with friends at home to this basic, yet solid, title. Now put down the mouse and pick up the die because it’s time for me to roll on out. Cheesy? You’re damn straight it is!

Trivial Pursuit Unhinged has enough features to be a better than decent board game conversion.

This should make a good party game for the grownups, especially over Xbox Live. [June 2004, p.81]

Won't hold up to extended play anyway because of the too-small question set. It's a shame; it's a well put-together game otherwise.

The worst thing about this title is that there are no dowloadable questions, so you can run out fast. I also don't know why they didn't make use of all the different Trivial Pursuit editions out there. [Aug 2004, p.96]
  8. So the big question is, "Does Trivial Pursuit Unhinged improve upon the actual Trivial Pursuit experience?" The answer is a resounding "No."...That there are far fewer questions in Unhinged than in your average Genus Edition doesn't help.
  9. Xbox Nation Magazine

Lacks polish, underwhelms, pales in comparison to the board game that inspired it. [June 2004, p.88]
  10. 30
The general lack of thought and polish is obvious in almost every aspect.

Of course it all has to be for the right person (someone who likes trivial pursuit). I think most people wouldn't be looking for this type of game on the xbox though. That's it's only real problem. I agree with most of the content in Anthony's review; however, I think it deserves better than a '6' rating. In my humble I agree with most of the content in Anthony's review; however, I think it deserves better than a '6' rating. In my humble opinion, it just barely squeeks in with an '8' if you have XBOX Live service. If you don't, consider it about a '7'. Full Review »

The celebrities haired to voice the questions do a fine job and the female host of the main game is easy on the ears. The Unhinged version of the game allows people to bet on other player's answers, land on weird spaces a la Mario Party, and do other dastardly stuff to add some variety to the game. XBox Live is an interesting addition if you don't mind playing against 12-year-olds who will quit halfway through the game (hint: BEST PLAYED WITH PEOPLE YOU KNOW). All in all a decent game as long as you're not expecting to be blown away by any of it. It's a trivia game, not Ninja Gaiden. Full Review »
