  1. Unless you can't get enough of GT-style racing, there's really no pressing reason to add Total Immersion Racing to your collection.
  2. One of the interesting things that sets this apart from other racers is the AI's ability to "learn" from how you behave on the track.

A soulless racer that the developer tries to make look good. [Jan 2003, p.114]

While fans will appreciate the faithful renditions of classic Euro circuits such as Silverstone, Hockenheim, and Monza, having more to choose from, as always, would have been better. [Winter 2002, p.109]

I was disappointed by the futility of the emotion/driver system because it left me with just another racing game that doesn't do anything particularly well.
  6. Cheat Code Central

Just another racing game. It has a few unique elements but its single, most coveted feature appears to have some missing links.
  7. Official Xbox Magazine

The cars don't handle realistically, the audio and visuals are weak, and races all feel same-ish, regardless of the track. [Jan 2003, p.74]

This maybe isn't the worst driving game ever... but not far from it :) it just doesn't have the feeling.
