Play MagazineThis is easily the best WB-based game to come down the pike yet. [Sept 2002, p.69]
-
Xbox Nation MagazineGorgeously cel shaded, sharp, and smart, but ultimately too difficult for the game's intended audience and certainly a little too generous in its repetition of sound samples. [Fall 2002, p.121]
-
There are definitely flaws, but nothing that brings the game to a screeching halt.
-
Cel-shading is average, voice acting is nothing more then decent, but the lack of save points and frustrating, repeated gameplay spoils it all.
-
Official Xbox MagazineExploration is usually a big part of the enjoyment of games like this, and unfortunately, you never get the sense that you can do this here. [Oct 2002, p.112]
-
Its supposed to be a cartoon and it definitely looks like one but however you look at it there arent many polygons in any given level so why on earth is the frame rate so choppy?
-
Taz has no butt stomp or double jump maneuvers, the latter of which would've come in very handy for the game's prevalent platform jumping.
