Jan 11, 2014The place where this game shines is in it's graphics, voice acting and gameplay. The controls are pretty tough, and some of the levels aren't great, but the huge amount of paths is what makes this game interesting. I think that this game deserves at least a 6, it is a bit more than most people want to play, or see from a SEGA game.
I would suggest trying it out before you buy it. -
Feb 23, 2015I don't hate this game, when I was 5 I loved this game but now I don't like ti very much. It's okay at best, the story is fricking terrible but the gameplay is okay.
5/10 -
Feb 2, 2017Shadow the Hedgehog is a game that brings unwelcome amount of maturity (And for an E10+ game, this is what you get? Please... save that for the M-rated games.), unnecessary edginess, and guns in a series all about a hedgehog with the ability to run as fast as a human can go. I'm too confused, is this supposed to be in the exact same franchise or am I just dreaming?

#25 Most Discussed Xbox Game of 2005

Shadow the Hedgehog doesn't really do anything new, and doesn't really give the impression anyone's trying particularly hard.
-
Considering the series' rich history, no gamer should be forced to have such mediocrity tarnishing their childhood memories.
-
From its stripping down of the series' most successful gameplay elements to its obviously desperate addition of weapons and 'street' cool this is still a product of a development studio with a good imagination. But also, it seems, a lazy one only too happy to jump on the same GTA bandwagon that's currently carrying way too many developers.
