While Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 is a fantastic game in its own right, the fact that its takes such little advantage of the hardware its running on prevents us from being truly ecstatic.

As with all console versions of PSO, serious design flaws significantly detract from the game, namely poor enemy AI and sensory awareness, horrible targeting, and a thin plot.
