MerxJun 20, 2002Love this game! Great graphics, great ball physics, new/cool swing. Great game for friends getting together having a few cold ones and playing some golf. Only down side is the limited number of courses (3). At least the characters don't have giant heads.

BillC.Jun 29, 2002Much more fun than I expected, with a healthy number of events and unlockables.

DanC.Jun 20, 2002This game has incredible graphics but its too bad the control style is brutal. It also sucks that the ball never seems to stop rolling after it lands. Hot Shots 3 for PS2 is the way to go.

UterAug 27, 2004The golf is too difficult for a party game style title. the graphics aren't very great either. but i like the concept quite a bit. outlaw volleyball is def the better outlaw game.

DanF.Jun 18, 2002Decent first try and but only 3 courses and you end up beating your caddie every other hole, gets boring. stopped playing it and went back to hot shots golf 3 (ps2).

ChuckF.Aug 17, 2002Not a bad game, plays very well similar to real golf. Tour play is a must so you can improve your skills. Not worth $50 but a good buy used.

Xbox Nation MagazineOutlaw Golf can be played and thoroughly enjoyed on the couch. [Fall 2002, p.121]

It makes you laugh and frustrates in equal measure and that is surely the games main problem, for every yin it has a yang and never reaches the sum of its parts.
-
A very fast arcade-style game that is positively overflowing with character.
