Players simply watch the drama unfold with no interaction at all, making Maximum chase a boring plod at best. [Mar 2004, p.81]

Even for an arcade action game, Maximum Chase is short and easy. You'll blow through the entire game in less than an afternoon. There are special objectives to beat in order to unlock things such as new cars and camera filters, but there isn't much incentive to replay this game once you've beaten it.
  3. Its tiring shooting sequences, somewhat rushed production value, and lack of replay value hurt it badly.

If you have any sort of good taste in games whatsoever, please do not buy this game -- instead, have someone else buy it, laugh at him, and then make fun of the title together over a Sunday afternoon. It's a short game, besides.

Great graphics for its time. Very short (like 1 hour if you don't fail) and very satisfying. Live action cutscenes acting is the mostGreat graphics for its time. Very short (like 1 hour if you don't fail) and very satisfying. Live action cutscenes acting is the most enjoyable disaster I've seen in a while. Even more baffling considering that all charaters were dubbed for some reason according to credits. Totally worth a play. Full Review »
