  1. The level of customization is really great and the gameplay is good as well. If nothing else, Juiced is a really good weekend rental.
  2. A decent, customizable racer that takes it to the streets.

In relation to the more arcade-based titles available at the moment this game is the leader of the pack, as it manages to deliver everything that makes street racing enjoyable at a high standard, in one neat package. [June 2005, p.106]
  4. A pretty decent street racer, with great selection of cars and juicy customization options.
  5. Play Magazine

If you're so inclined to prowl the mean streets for pinks, Juiced certainly deserves your registration. [July 2005, p.78]
  6. 70
The biggest problem is that we've seen everything Juiced has to offer before.
  7. A competent racer, lacking in direction and marred by unnecessary flaws, which deprive it of pole position. A definite try before you buy.
  8. 70
The racing feels bone-dry next to the tastier "Midnight Club 3"; the tracks in Juiced are closed off and clean, giving the game a hygienic feel.
  9. While Juiced does possess some elements of originality, the net effect still doesn't make the game particularly distinctive or give it any kind of edge over Electronic Arts' chart-topping series.
  10. 70
If you've played "Midnight Club" or "Need for Speed Underground" for any length of time, it's hard to tell you to run out and purchase Juiced. That's a shame, because this really is a very decent race game.
  11. The bad news is that long way it took to get here may have been too long for its own good, as it's easily overshadowed by the competition from Rockstar and EA.
  12. At best, Juiced is a mediocre ride. It's got a few shiny bits in the form of the team racing and gambling portions, but then the rough edges come roaring out of the gate and kill whatever joy you had at playing the game.
  13. 68
What Juiced offers is a career mode that has ideas about respect and making connections, but in the end is a clunky racer where the main gaming mechanic of making money to spend on more races and car parts can easily backfire and put players in a position of struggling to make ends meet.
  14. It's fast, and it's pretty fun. It's just not particularly special. [July 2005, p.110]
  15. It simply exists in an inoffensive and unexciting realm of commonplaceness that makes it incapable of standing out among the pack of infinitely better racers available for any of its chosen platforms.
  16. 60
The simple truth is that Juiced is behind the curve. The racing isn't bad, but the game places emphasis on the wrong reward system.
  17. Edge Magazine

An impressively comprehensive, reasonably captivating though ultimately flawed experience. [June 2005, p.95]
  18. There's no doubting Juiced is a quality game, but it veers off the racing line with a flawed progression system that starts off promisingly but penalises players too harshly and makes it a frustrating experience to claw your way back.
  19. Boomtown

But daylight racing is not enough to mark this game out from a crowd of games that while steadfastly sitting comfortably in their niches and not taking risks, ultimately are a lot more fun to play.
  20. AceGamez
    60
Whilst it plays fine and does everything you'd expect from a good racing title, it could have done a whole lot more.
  21. 60
Combine the dull career mode, spin-out crazy physics, and average graphics, and you get a ride evoking the same emotions as when DX Civics buzz down the street with coffee can mufflers late at night. [July 2005, p.78]]
  22. 60
Juiced can be highly irritating at some times and completely unfair at others. Why, for instance, do you have to help pay to repair other racers' cars yet no one helps you get your car back into racing shape?
  23. Juiced may play well enough compared to SRS or Need for Speed Underground and its sequel, but neither the handling or the circuits can touch Forza, Rallisport 2 or PGR2 for sheer playability.
  24. Pelaaja (Finland)
    60
Juiced has many interesting features, but they all have been seen before in the games it shamelessly imitates. The game has interesting characters and good career-mode but why bother, when there are better games to choose from? [June 2005, p.62]

A se demander comment un tél étron a pu atterrir sur consoles. Il faut le voir pour le croire et y "jouer" pour tenter d'y croire. Un misérable sous-produit bâclé à la hache par des incapables tombés de leur arbre. Full Review »

The feel of driving is absolutely spot on, and the graphics must seriously be among the best on the Xbox. Very detailed but also very smooth and a steady 60fps framerate - excellent job. It's a very addictive game with lots of depth and replay value - don't be put off by negative reviews, if you love racing and tuning games, you have to get this! Full Review »
