  1. The game may be weak when it comes to the look of the game, but the animation is very good, the sound is excellent, and the program is rich with options.
  2. Looks better than NFL Gameday 2002, and plays better than QB Club or Gameday, but it doesn't have the serious adjustments in the computer controlled players to compete with Madden, Fever, or NFL 2K2.
  3. If you are a Franchise Freak I think you would want to check this game out.

The franchise finally shows a bit of potential. [Mar 2002, p.70]

If there's one thing this game suffers from, it's that you can't control the receivers. [Mar 2002, p.85]
  6. Despite an extra year in development, Konami's game is still not quite ready for prime time.
  7. The least exciting NFL game on the Xbox.
  8. 40
Prime Time can't decide if it wants to be a sim or more of an arcade title. It flounders between the two, failing to capture any of the excitement of football.
  9. Xbox Nation Magazine

Camera angles are absolutely dizzying, and controls are clumsy and unresponsive. [Spring 2002, p.91]
