Sorry, Digi-fans, but this one is a weekend rental.
-
It has a wholly unsatisfying single-player game, made worse by a clunky camera and overly cheap enemies. It's also unbalanced, leaving players without any compatriots out in the cold.
-
Digimon World 4 isn't necessarily a must-have, but, with four players along for the ride, it does provide some decent Digi-thrills.
-
Official Xbox MagazineThe gameplay takes its cue mainly from games like "Phantasy Star Online," except simpler, a lot rougher, and yet plenty more convoluted. [Sept 2005, p.80]
-
A dull and largely forgettable experience, which, considering the quality of the previous three Digimon World games, really shouldn't be too big of a surprise to anyone.
