Xbox Nation MagazineTo the point: It's bowling, it's fun, it's $20. 'Nuff said. [Apr 2004, p.91]
-
Despite its earnest attempt at realism, the game's clunky, overly convoluted interface, general lack of gameplay variety, and incredibly stripped-down presentational aspects leave it dull, confusing, and generally not much fun to play.
-
Doesn't try to do anything new and can't even offer some of the oomf seen in bowling games from the past.
-
Cheat Code CentralFrom the graphics to the gameplay this is a game that would be more at home on the PSX than either the Xbox or the PS2. About the only good thing about this game is that it's a budget title. I wouldn't expect any serious gamer to get more than an hour's worth of entertainment from this.
-
Fails on pretty much every gameplay level. The whole production, from beginning to end, has an unpolished feel that makes it quite hard to stomach.
-
The bowling system is alright but not as challenging as it needed to be, and multiplayer games actually get tedious. Seems like a digital gutter ball, really.
