    Ok world, but it's quite a slog towards rhe end. Didn't like the turn based fighting...at all. Graphics not great.

    Free on gamepass and I feel like that was too high a price, who is this for? read a book or watch a movie this is just one long cut screen with the most boring repetitive gameplay in very shortly interrupting.

    On ne va pas se mentir, les Yakuza ont toujours été de la merde… aussi appréhendait-on le pire avec cet énième épisode… et on n’a pas été déçu ! même si sur certains points, il reste moins merdique que les précédents. Du moins, un peu moins.

    Le combat au tour par tour par exemple… même s’il fait figure de parent pauvre, directement hérité du tour par tour très limité d’un vieux Final    On ne va pas se mentir, les Yakuza ont toujours été de la merde… aussi appréhendait-on le pire avec cet énième épisode… et on n’a pas été déçu ! même si sur certains points, il reste moins merdique que les précédents. Du moins, un peu moins.

D’ailleurs, il y a tellement de combats dans ce Yakuza que c’est à se tirer une balle entre les yeux : on ne peut pas faire 20m sans tomber sur des vilains à tabasser. Certes, on peut les éviter, les contourner, attendre qu’ils passent mais c’est presque aussi chiant que de se les taper…

    Et ces bastons dans la campagne principale sont encore plus nombreuses ! ça n’en finit pas… entre deux cinématiques bien sûr. Car on a rarement vu autant de blabla : c’est à faire mourir de honte n’importe quel Metal Gag Solid ! d’ailleurs, souvent la manette s’éteint, ce qui signifie qu’on s’est tapé… 10 minutes de cinématiques et de dialogues « on s’en fout ». Car ce Yakuza nous prend pour des enfants de 6 ans un peu attardés à nous exposer les atermoiements de chacun et les « enjeux » de cette histoire à dormir debout, des enjeux pourtant simples, pour ne pas dire simplistes.

    En dehors de ça, on retrouve les travers habituels de la série comme l’humour imbécile et le grand n’importe quoi ambiant, le mauvais goût qui la caractérise… Notons néanmoins que sur Series X, le jeu est très beau et maintient un 60 im/s très agréable. Les environnements sont soignés et seules quelques (rares) textures font la gueule. Les temps de chargement sont réduits à leu plus simple expression, même pas le temps de compter jusqu’à… deux.

    La répétition omniprésente a donc raison de notre patience, de même que ces cinématiques à tout bout de champ ; le jeu reste cependant très jouable et l’interface assez bien faite : on se surprend à se prendre au jeu les premières heures, puis on déchante par la suite, fatigué par ce crapaud qui s’est pris pour un boeuf…    … Expand

    Przyjemna historia, fajny humor... i niestety to wszystko, dla mnie nudna i skupiająca się na słuchaniu historii bez większej możliwości interakcji i samego grania.

    In parts the game is cool, has a good story despite the thousands of boring and endless dialogues, the graphics for the Xbox Series S is OK, nothing so surprising but it could be better since the game is not that big. The turn-based combat was what disappointed me the most, the setback is so big that I even made the refund.     Yakuza: Like a Dragon does exactly as hoped and brings a whole new audience to the series with a reinvention of sorts. It plays well, looks great, and has one of the simplest stories to understand fronted by Ichi, the most likeable protagonist so far. It was a bold move in it's radical approach to the combat system that has paid off spectacularly, when partnered with a wealth of sub-quests that never feel forced and always delight. If you are a long time Yakuza fan, take comfort in knowing that even in a new direction this not only holds up, but is the best in the series. For newcomers, go and grab one of the games of the year. Consider this reviewer converted.

    What a wild ride it is. I didn't want Yakuza: Like a Dragon to end. A part of me wonders if I grinded out battles and business minigames more than was intended, simply because I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Ichiban and friends. Fortunately, the story wraps up nicely and leaves the door open for a possible sequel — even though it wavers a bit near the end. This isn't farewell to Ichiban. With a new cast of charming characters, Like A Dragon feels like the start of a new saga in the Yakuza franchise. Until next time, Kasuga-kun.

    Yakuza Like a Dragon is one of the best RPGs of the year. RGG Studio has managed to create a great introduction of the series for the new generation.
