    12 minutes is a literal puzzle box that kept me obsessively trying experimenting for hours at a time. Whilst the setting is confined, the native and experimentation kept me going well beyond the twist and what I originally considered an ending.

    I only experienced one visual clipping glitch throughout my entire 8.5 hours playing where an section of the players torso clipped through their    12 minutes is a literal puzzle box that kept me obsessively trying experimenting for hours at a time. Whilst the setting is confined, the native and experimentation kept me going well beyond the twist and what I originally considered an ending.

    Great game good voice actors/music and an okay story with a weird twist but an unforgettable experience. It was getting a bit repetitive after some hours when you didn’t know what to do… I think most people had to search for help/tips on for example YouTube but still tho I really liked the plot of the game great job guys.

    O desempenho dos actores que dão voz aos protagonistas é fantástico .Para mim é um dos jogos do ano!

Из-за этого игра и цепляет первые часы, дальше же вы утопаете в догадках, что вам нужно делать дальше. Во время прохождения даже у меня был момент, когда я лез в YouTube и просто шокировался от того, что мнеНенависть к этой игре достаточно незаслуженная. Определено ругать эту игру есть за что — но оглянувшись на все игры в жанре Квест, вы вряд ли найдёте игру со схожей концепцией и идеей. Из-за этого игра и цепляет первые часы, дальше же вы утопаете в догадках, что вам нужно делать дальше. В плане, насколько это НЕ очевидно и глупо, и насколько до этого невозможно догадаться без подсказок. Однако в игре есть определенный плюс — День Сурка. С помощью этой петли во времени, ваши даже самые отчаянные попытки предотвратить всё плохое дают вам пищу для размышлений, больше вариантов для действий и веток диалогов. Это прикольно и не надоедает, так как проходить игру можно реально по-разному, разными путями и способами. Тебе дают свободу, и она не бессмысленная — проворачивая во время игры даже самые глупые действия, вы можете развивать сюжет. В этом и ещё один плюс — игра не деревянная. У вас есть нож? Вы можете им как и зарезать кого-то, так и развязать себе наручники, или спилить вентиляцию. У вас есть стакан воды? Вы можете даже цветок этой водой полить — на здоровье! единственное разочарование этой игры — линейность. Концовка в этой игре и вправду разочаровывает, в ней нет ничего плохого, игра в конце цельно завершает действительно интересную историю, но в игре, где всё завязано вокруг петли во времени видеть всего две завершающих игру концовки, как-то странно. Хочется, чтобы в игре был упор на то, как мы можем избавиться от проблем разными способами, как например в Stanley Parable, где действительно огромный выбор действий, и также много концовок. В Stanley Parable также была огромная локация, ты мог идти куда хочешь. В Twelve Minutes всего лишь одна квартирка, где и не шибко много предметов и простора для действий... Однако все же, пройдя эту игру я был сильно впечатлен. Эта именно та игра, которую стоит попробовать. Тем более через Game Pass. Если вы хотите хорошую игру на вечерок для дружеской компании/вечеринки, либо же просто игру с интересной историей — вам, как говориться, по адресу.… Expand

    Honestly I don't know why other people say it is bad. It is not the case. For the genre, it is a great game. Complaining about loops when the premise is based on it is like hating on "Groundhog Day" for being repetitive.

    The voice acting is excellent. The story itself is interesting. The gameplay is where the game lacks, however, it's overshadowed by the narrative.     Su simpleza pero al mismo tiempo lo alto que intenta llegar este juego me fascina aunque le falta un pulido en las animaciones o incluso detalles simples como poner algunos efectos o música mas tensa en momentos justos mejorarían aun mas el juego pero increíble para un juego indie

    I don't know why there are so many haters here... It is absolutely not bad game at all. I having so much fun with it, I don't even count the time. 8 hours gone in a few seconds. One of the best gaming experience for sure!

    It is worth noting that the true ending is not executed well, and one aspect of the core mystery unfortunately makes little sense. It isn't the kind of plot hole that makes it impossible to follow the central mystery, I figured it out around halfway through. But apart from a low effort line of dialogue, it goes disappointingly unexplained.

    There are also some unfinished aspects (using a particular item on the windows and paintings results in placeholder text). And as always the case in choice-driven games, some options you might think of are not present. Notably, you can't ask your wife to go anywhere or do anything which would make sense in context. That is of course a forgivable limitation of the genre and gameplay; to enable that would require an unimaginable number of additional permutations.

    I found myself unsure how to proceed a few times, but apart from the true ending, every time I found what I needed to progress it made logical sense. Sometimes you just need to look closer, revisit things you thought you'd already exhausted, or revisit the lengths you're willing to go to. The game does a remarkable job of making you feel trapped and isolated in a hopeless cycle, so it feels immensely rewarding when you take a significant step forward and your options open up.

    I felt that the unique and satisfying way the gameplay loop of experimenting with different permutations rewards you by slowly peeling back layers of the mystery ultimately makes up for its shortcomings.

    I thoroughly recommend it. Just go in knowing that while the mystery is satisfying, after solving it, the way the game ends is not.    … Expand

    12 minutes starts off with an interesting top-down view of an apartment foyer. The tutorial and game mechanics are offered by navigating down the hallway to your apartment door and opening it. The controls and gameplay are a very straight forward click and drag system which is very intuitive.

The voice cast were great and this is no surprise considering the three main actors were James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley and Willem DaFoe. No expense spared in the casting department which helps with the immersion.

    The game revolves around your tiny apartment with your wife and is played out in real time with a maximum of 12 minutes through any given time loop. Each time someone dies or the current story is played out the story is rewound back to the start of the 12 minutes and the loop starts again.

    Whilst it does sound extremely monotonous, each play through gives you more information and answers in order to use that newly acquired information to go forward the loop after and it continues until you are able to solve the mystery and get one or several of the many endings. I thought the story was excellent and was not disappointed.

    I can see how some people may be turned off by the repetitiveness of running through the same scene and dialogue over and over again, but for me this was the interesting part. It wasn't until I was attempting achievements that it started to feel a bit grindy.

    I had an absolute blast searching for new ways to gather more information and get closer to the end and thought it was a very clever way for a point and click puzzle/adventure game if you would even call it that. This was one of my favourite games in a long time and I can't wait for Annapurna Interactive to try something similar in a new release. I would definitely be playing on launch that's for sure!    … Expand

If you like games that don't consist in mashing buttons, if you like riddles and point and click games, you must play this.     Point and click adventure with a compelling story. It did feel repetitive once or twice but whatever that happened it was a sign that I was missing something I needed to find. But I couldn't put it down. Really great play through. I completed it in about 6 hours so definitely give it a shot on Gamepass since it'll feel like free. It's been 2 days since I finished it and I'm still thinkingPoint and click adventure with a compelling story. It did feel repetitive once or twice but whatever that happened it was a sign that I was missing something I needed to find. But I couldn't put it down. Really great play through.     Es una tontería ver personas punteando con 0. Que tipo de persona hay que ser para que el juego les parezca aburrido?. Yo en la primera sentada estuve 4 horas, solo me falta el logro Mindfulness y sin lio repetiré el juego para buscar esos 80G. Demasiado intrigante, atrapa el juego este!

    El juego es una aventura narrativa que nos lleva a explorar nuestras limitadas opciones en un escenario que ya conocemos. Las variantes de cada escenario que puedes hacer al cambiar un par de cosas son muy bien pensadas. El juego es fantástico y las acotaciones de voz memorables y reconocibles.

It isn't the type of game i would normally buy or play, however it's free on xbox gamepass and howlongtobeat.com suggested it was around 4 1/2 hours. That's perfect for me since i don't have a lot of free time.

    The game is mostly played from a top down view in a limited area, your flat and its 3 rooms. You're stuck in a repeating time loop, groundhog day style. Every 12 minutes or so the game resets to the moment just after you enter your flat, though death and trying to leave the flat triggers a reset at well. Since there's only 3 rooms and a limited number of items to use its pretty simple to figure out various combinations to try out and progress the story. I did get a bit stuck at the beginning since i kept trying to win by killing the cop. Eventually i manged to move things on by talking to the wife and trying none violent options. Apart from the frusting part where i didn't seem to make progress, the game was fun. It can become a grind at time. If there was an option to reload to e.g. 2 minutes earlier and try other options etc. it would have saved me a fair bit of time.

    Overall it was a fun experience. It's not a game of the year or a must play game, however it is enjoyably and short. It's worth trying out if you have a free afternoon.    … Expand

    Great game been caught up in the suspense all day , a quality xbox game with an original idea in the video game industry. James McAvoy and William Dafoe are brilliant. And that twist (you know the one) I NEVER seen coming, but when it hit I'm slightly ashamed to admit it gave me a half semi lol jokes...

    Excellent game.
    A smart game made by a small team.
    It has the merit of having interested my wife in a video game, while she does not like it. That is performance.
    Very good acting, the possibilities are many. A very beautiful discovery for the end of the holidays.

    Overall, this is a great game if you want to have a unique gaming experience wrapped in a mysterious story.

    This game is really more of an 8.5. The biggest praise I can give it is I was not able to put it down and finished it in one day. That is rarely the case for me. The story was interesting, with multiple twists and turns. The voice acting was very good, and the music was fantastic.    Overall, this is a great game if you want to have a unique gaming experience wrapped in a mysterious story.

The puzzles were challenging and gave opportunities to take various paths to progress the story without being overly difficult.

    My only complaint is a few instances where I would need to go through longer repetitive sequences in order to make a tweak to the loop later on. There is a fast forward mechanic, but it could have been implemented a bit better.    … Expand

    In my opinion a great game. The idea is nice, the game is good. Some decisions seems a bit odd, but overall nice.
    A skip button or a shortcut to some points would be Great.

    Un très bon jeu dans l'ensemble mais qui laisse un sentiment différent entre ses deux premiers tiers et le dernier qui parait vraiment plus poussif et non intuitif.

    Very interesting puzzle game it's a 9 out of 10 from me. It is an incredibly original idea for a loop puzzle that has many of the properties of a good story, visually not great but good, engaging dialogue between the characters.     This game is really fun with a really good story and voice acting..lil frustrating when you get stuck but very satisfying when you figure it out ..dialogue is able to be fast-forwarded I enjoyed this game

J’ai réussi à avoir 2 fins différentes, sachant qu’il y en a certainement d’autres (et que la 2ème fin que j’ai faite, devient « définitive », c’est à dire obligé de recommencer au début, si je veux tenter une autre approche).

    Un de mes indés favoris de cette année, clairement. Il n’est jamais    pfiou. Je viens de finir 12 minutes (je dirais un peu plus de 7h pour en voir le bout).     Impossible de trop en parler sans spoiler mais je le conseille à tout le monde (du moins à tous ceux qui ne seront pas rebuté par l’aspect point and click).    … Expand

    Entertining and challenging thriller adventure. The endings are satisfying to discover even if some of the puzzles are very difficult to solve.

    12 minutes is a point’n’click thriller playing with a time loop theme with a great premise and introductory setting, but with a lack of interactivity and an unfortunate story. After the enthusiasm from the beginning of the game, when you will enjoy the offered possibilities of the game sandbox, frustration and disappointment will come. Even dabing with brilliant actors is not helping the game. It seems to be recorded in a hurry and without the possibility for the actors to get used to the character.

    Great idea woefully executed. The story, gripping at first, soon devolves into frustrating repetition. The characters just aren’t interesting enough and the A-list actors offer what might just be the blandest performances of their careers. Spend your twelve minutes elsewhere.
