Solid survival game with some issues.

The design of the quests in saga mode incentivizes players to complete the first quest and then leave, which often leaves you with only a handful of players instead of a full group. Takes a lot of the fun out of the saga mode. When you maintain a good size group its really fun. If you have a good group of friends to play this with its very

Would like to see a "Practice" saga mode where you start out well equipped so you can get used to the mechanics and what needs to be done without bringing down random groups who are already experienced.

Would also like to see more customizable modes, but for $20 it is already well worth the price.

Tribes of Midgard did a great job of transitioning to console, feeling natural on a controller without feeling overwhelming like many PC to console ports. There’s a mountain of content to get through for the most dedicated but you’ll have to get over the learning curve hurdle before it all makes sense. While playable solo, I highly recommend finding some friends to play alongside with, as I wasn’t enjoying myself playing alone, but with some friends it made a world of difference.

If you're not too bothered about objective based gameplay and prefer forging your own path, you'll likely enjoy however much time you decide to spend with Tribes of Midgard.

Tribes of Midgard is a large number of simple systems that work well with their co-op focus. The new survival mode makes solo play a Hel of a lot more appealing, as well. Retailing for a very reasonable $20 US this one is worth checking out if you have a group of friends interested in it.
