    Other than a few graphics bugs and crashes, this was a fantastic update to the game. It was nice to dive back in and remember how fantastic Heart of Stone was.

    This game is still amazing after all these years but now with even better graphics and all DLC. You won't regret buying this and or of you're on the not alot of spare cash right now. Get xbox game pass for series X/S to enjoy all these great improvements for only like 16$ a month and just keep playing this amazing game till you beat it!!

    Playthrough number 3, didn't sleep with K-Metz last night. Sticking with Yessifer. Quick sign cast, yes please. Everything is grand in performance mode. Very happy with next gen update.

    Probably the worst game I've ever played. The graphics come from 2000s, gameplay is bad, animations & physics are hilarious, horse riding is awfull, NPCs are brain-dead, map is full of copy-paste etc.

    Wokepunk 77 is much better than this dialogue simulator. What a shame...

    Don't think for a second I'm done criticizing your game CDPR. How can I forget the obvious downgrade in graphics this garbage had. If this were Ubisoft, we all know how that narrative would've went. Speaking of Ubisoft, it's funny when CDPR fans make fun of Ubisoft physics. Do they not pay attention to CDPR physics? Those physics are even worse than Ubisoft. The Gwent minigame is horrible.Don't think for a second I'm done criticizing your game CDPR. That's embarrassing and it just goes to show how cheap and lazy these greedy developers are.

    For a game made by "consumer friendly" developers, they sure did a fantastic job at allowing me to play with friends. Oh that's right, there is no multiplayer. The greedy developers had the audacity to slap a $60 price tag at launch for only half of the game. It's easy to brag about no microtransactions when these lazy and greedy developers only worked on half the game. I guarantee you their future games with online multiplayer will have MTX. Speaking of which, this game did technically have microtransactions. Those story DLCs were the MTX. If CDPR were truly the good guys, then they would've gave us the complete game at the start rather than joining the greedy trend of releasing an incomplete game for $60, only to complete it with paid DLC 1 year later. What's laughable is that this practice gets praised by gamers and journalists, and then they have a surprised Pikachu face when their beloved developers become even greedier. The DLCs are now free, but that should've been the case in the beginning. I don't recommend this boring game at all.    … Expand

    This game was firmly in my top 3 all time. With this update, it reaches the top even more. Playing with next gen upgrade is a joy for your eyes. New run just started and I truly envy people that still have to play this masterpiece.

    Still one of the most beautiful stories ever told, one that got me crying after I got the sad ending. Have this game on PS4, will definitely get the PS5 and Xbox SX version and get all the achievements from scratch.

    I never played the original, so the Complete Edition was my first ever play through, which includes both expansion packs. The game exceeded my expectations. The world was huge and beautiful with scenic landscapes and lively villages and cities that are huge compared to other RPGs. Best medieval world in any game ever. The game looks incredible in 4K Dolby Vision on an OLED television. TheI never played the original, so the Complete Edition was my first ever play through, which includes both expansion packs. The game exceeded my expectations. The world was huge and beautiful with scenic landscapes and lively villages and cities that are huge compared to other RPGs. Best medieval world in any game ever. The game looks incredible in 4K Dolby Vision on an OLED television. The story seemed to be well written, though I occasionally had trouble comprehending all aspects of it. Many people have criticized the combat for being "clunky" but I mostly enjoyed it and found it to be fun. It's plenty fine.

    The weapons, armor and crafting system is enjoyable. Weapon and armor durability is long lasting, unlike in certain other games (***cough*** BotW ***cough***). And I like how you never have to redo anything if you end up dying. The game lets you try again right where you left off. Overall, it's an easy game, though a handful of bosses put up a real fight. Most bosses I would beat on the first or second attempt, but a few had me trying up to 20 times, particularly in the expansion packs, which are not as easy as the base game.

    The music was good, though there aren't really many memorable pieces, but the soundtrack fit the game's environment and plot very well. The characters were all great and well developed. I liked the fast travel system and the quest log does a great job at organizing everything. I never felt completely lost or not sure where to go, except on rare occasion.

    I mostly played the main quests, but occasionally did a side quest and clocked in at a combined 67 hours for the base game plus both expansion packs. There is a LOT of content here, even sticking to the main game. You will have to make hundreds of choices throughout the game, so choose carefully. But for the most part, you can't really go wrong.    … Expand

    Its so perfect. I bought thid game just for 2 dollars on Argentina on the last winter sales. New graphic mode for xbsx and ps5 is perfect. I like The Witcher3's store so much. Its great and gameplay is interesting. But!! The game have a lot of bugs so just 8 is my score.

    The best RPG of all time in my opinion. It manages to tell an amazing story in such a great open world.

    This game is truly a masterpiece

    The new gen update just improves the graphics and adds an option for quick spell casting which really improves the flow of combat and I definitely recommend using.

Tracing back how much praise the game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has received, we all know that the complete edition remake this year won’t let us down. After eight years, it is still one of the best of all time. Continuing the story of the second of the trilogy, we are still playing Geralt of Rivia, stepping on the journey of finding his daughter Ciri.

    The plot of the game could not have gone any better. Although the objective of finding Ciri is clear, countless stories and relations happen with the journey. There are just too many choices to make, so players can become the kind of witcher they want. For example, Geralt has lots of experiences with two heroines Triss and Yennifer and decide whether to have romantic relationship with then; In the war and political conflict, Geralt help between Northern countries or Nilfgaardian Empire. There are multiple endings to the game, including Ciri becoming a witcher, a queen, or dying to defeat the white frost. The plot of main game is just like a fantasy novel to read. If this is something extraordinary, then the dlc Hearts of Stone is just a perfect art. It has the structure of Faust, that it talks about how a man who deals with demon to achieve wish of staying with his love, will not receive what he wants and finally loses everything.

    The world built in the game is an excellent feature, with a set of distinctive countries: the frozen mountain Kaer Morhen, the lively cities of Redania, the Nordic Skellig Islands and the land of wine Toussaint. Unlike many open-world games that only creates shells with nothing spectacular in the maps, The Witcher 3 make the world real and vital. You can walk in every house in the city of Novigrad. In every corner in the world, player will meet treasure, offensive creatures or possible surprise. As you step on the journey of finding daughter and facing wild hunt, the atmosphere of each place will accompany your changing mood. Just imagine how lonely the No Man’s land Velen is. The witcher world is a marvelous medieval world full of possibility. And as you join this experiment, you will find that full of possibility is only an understatement.

    The gaming experience of the Witcher 3 is also nice and exciting. The complete edition improves the heavy game play, which wasn’t acclaimed before update. The music performed by orchestra in the game is hauntingly beautiful, and also apply colour to the emotions of the plot. With new technologies used, the visual effect is now totally “next-gen” quality. Ray tracing makes the reflections and scenes realistic now. But the game now requires a mid-to-high end computer or next-gen game consoles, which means its performance isn’t cracked up to be on older hardware.

    To sum up, from what I have elaborated before, the plot and open-world are among the best. From every perspective, we can’t find any weaknesses that will essentially influence the experience negatively. Considering the continual discount, I think it is safe to say that the Witcher 3 is the game that everyone should buy and enjoy.

    Plot: 10/10 excellent
    Game play: 8/10 good
    Quality of scene: 10/10 excellent
    Visual and audio experience: 10/10 excellent

The characters I previously mentioned    Words can simply not describe how much I love this game, but will certainly do my best:

    Characters - Existing characters such as Geralt, Triss, Ciri, Dandelion, Yen, Keira (plus Shani and Regis for the expansions) have been utilized brilliantly from the source material and used so well in the world the game has created, and boy what a world it is! The characters I previously mentioned are probably the ones that stood out for me the most, but to be honest there are so many brilliantly constructed characters (even minor ones like Bart the Rock Troll) that I simply don't know where to even begin... Geralt's interaction with most them is simply brilliant, and the game has so many amazing, memorable moments because of it (including the famous 'drinking game segment' at Kaer Morgen). You also get a logged back story for each character, most of it taken from the books and/or previous games. which is brilliant if, like me, you decided to read the books afterwards or couldn't be bothered playing through the first couple of Witcher games (although I did get through 3 stages of the original game). It's obviously more important to have this as there is alot of stuff in the game that needs back story to elaborate on, weither it be a situation or certain dialogue. Oh yes the dialogue, love love love some of conversations in this game. You can tell alot of thought and effort went into it. The character dialogue for the most part, particularly for Geralt is so complex and funny. As it is with certain other characters mind you, but Geralt's obviously stands out the most

    Environment - The graphics and art design for all the environments are simply brilliant, each location had its own distinctive feel and is and absolute joy to explore (I spent about 2 weeks just exploring Skellege's oceans and vast landscapes)

    Monsters/Enemies - Such a huge assorted variety, honestly you can never get bored with the variety of enemies you face. I also love that each monster has it's own unique methods of quickly being dispelled, and everytime you discover something a description will pop up in the beast log, breaking up everything into different categories aswell

    Story - Soooo gooood. Honestly story elements wise, I don't think any game is going to even come remotely close. Especially given that so many of the side stories actually match, and even sometimes exceed, the complexity and epicness of the main storyline

    Combat - Kept interesting through the graphic, stylized fighting and dismemberment. Aswell as the additional use of things like signs and potions. Once again you usually need to use certain combinations of things to kill my monsters more easily, particularly the more defined 'boss level' ones

    Expansions - BRILLIANT. Hearts of Stone has truely amazing story and character elements. While Blood and Wine does this on a slightly lower scale but adds another beautiful environment with various new enemies to face

    So basically this the best I can do to some up how epic The Witcher 3 is. But honestly, just play the damn game!!!    … Expand

    Such a great game. Spent hundreds of hours together. I love the graphics, role-play and most importantly the story. When I finished this game first time I couldn't hold my tears of course. I believe they could improve combat and optimization. I got more than thousand hours in this game.

    The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition joins the current generation in style. To be honest this is the best graphics work ever implemented and is worth admiring with all the technical improvements made with raytracing. In addition, the new content of the Netflix series included in the game is a great detail.
