    For fans of Destiny, The Division, and all the loot-focused games-as-a-service titles, this is a damned good one at launch. We’ll see if they can continue to grow and improve it over time.

    I had a really fun time with this game. With how in-depth the story of Suicide Squad and the Justice League is, Kill the Justice League encapsulates the basis of what the comics portray in a bite-size journey. The game and the comics are not the same, and there are chaotic points during boss battles where I experienced FPS drops and freezes. With all this in mind, I'm eager to see more meat brought to the game with future DLC's and content.

    Rocksteady's Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, despite all of the wailing and gnashing of teeth pre-release, has arrived in perfectly fine form. This is, at launch, one of the most polished looter shooters we've played, an action-packed superhero adventure that dishes up top-notch combat, tons of fan-service, excellent traversal (important for superheroes!), addicting loot, and plenty of surprises and shocks to boot. Yes, the story is artificially dragged out, mission types are repetitive and the store is a right royal rip-off, but the writing, the performances, core mechanics and incredible attention to detail here ensure that this is one squad of misfits who've managed to take the heat and survive intact.

    Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a game that moves away from the Batman Arkham formula to embrace game-as-a-service. Even given that, it has a very good story full of winks and a gameplay with personality that mixes mobility and great gunplay.

    Suicide Squad: Killing the Justice League is a really fun game, whose biggest problem lies precisely in its Games as a service approach. The gameplay is well polished, the story is entertaining and humor is everywhere. However, it cries out to be a single-player adventure.

    There is so much negativity surrounding this title, but I don’t care. I have had a good time with it. Does it have faults? Yes it does. But this hasn’t ruined the experience for me. I’ve had fun playing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The first boss fight was bluntly rubbish however the second boss fight makes up for it in my opinion. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League feels like it was meant to be DC’s version of Marvel’s Avengers. I feel Rocksteady did a better job in keeping my attention and making missions easier to follow, even if they do have a repetitive nature to them.

    Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is full of potential. The game is a blast to play. The story is one of the best in a video game in a while, and there is a lot here for those that enjoy looter shooters. This almost feels like two games in one. I loved the campaign, but had little interest in the end game, while others will likely breeze through the story just to grind. I hope they continue the flow of content for both audiences because I would love to revisit it down the line. Also patch in that offline mode ASAP. Being mid boss fight for the server to disconnect is a huge bummer and makes me not want to play.

    Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a bit of a mixed bag. A top-notch diversified combat system coupled with top-shelf presentation is weighed down by some questionable narrative choices and incredibly repetitive mission design.

    Not nearly as irredeemable as you might think, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League actually has a lot of nice ideas and some nice, crunchy shooter mechanics. The endgame might fail to hold your attention, but the story is quite a ride while it lasts.

    Games are often more than the sum of their parts. The reverse is the case with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The positives are overshadowed by the negative elements, and the result is as messy as it is boring.

    It is difficult to judge a game like this. In a year's time, it could be something completely different. The campaign can be rewritten, expanded, modified. The gameplay can change, new characters, enemies, missions and so on can be added. Equally, a year from now, the servers may be down and the game box may just be an unusable artifact on a shelf somewhere. For now, though, it's like this. Good story, good co-op, good action and an absolutely great audio experience. But on top of that, some uninteresting missions, technical problems & outdated graphics.

    As a multiplayer co-op game, it fares marginally better but it’s hard to shake the sense that you’re witnessing a lot of sound and fury that signifies little. With a handful of notable exceptions, the mission quests blur into one another with their bullet-sponge enemies and dearth of game-changing upgrades in the skill trees...This hollowness at the core marks Suicide Squad down as a missed opportunity given Rocksteady’s pedigree and the vibrant personality on show in the down time between the lack-lustre shootouts.

    Its core mechanics are solid and there's undoubtedly great moments, but these are watered down time and again by repetitive run-of-the-mill missions and tasks. Suicide Squad often simply becomes too mechanical due to its nature, instead of giving players some breathing room.

    Kill the Justice League is the epitome of, “it gets good X hours in.” It’ll suck at first, then it’ll show you it’s capable of at least some moments of awesomeness. Fans of the DC universe may find a little more value in it, especially if you value narrative over gameplay, but Rocksteady’s latest is simply okay – nothing more or less.

    Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League brings on our screens a new compelling Arkhamverse story coupled with an entertaining gameplay loop. However, it fails to keep our interest high past the first hours, due to the lack of a deeper structure and a more varied gameplay. Overall, this results in a disappointing experience, especially for a game with live service ambitions. Our hopes for improvement are pinned on future content updates and solid post-launch support.

    Whatever the cause, the result is nothing if not a totally fascinating game, one with vast potential and reams of signature Rocksteady detail and panache and all the structure necessary to make a live service shooter that's genuinely enjoyable for months to come. There's just no central, underlying game to actually hang it on. A glittering, custom-made suit, without the hero to wear it.

    Simply put, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is one of the most disappointing releases in recent years. The game is so fundamentally broken that even the promises of extra content and DLCs are unlikely to save it, leaving the fans to wonder why a studio like Rocksteady with such a strong resume would end up making something this bad.

    After waiting and waiting and waiting, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's brilliant movement mechanics can't save an unfortunately short campaign that "ends" relying on the game being live-service to add story as they go through the different seasons. While playing as each of the Suicide Squad feels unique to each character, the reveal of Joker coming to the game in Spring with more playable characters on the way, I'd say wait for a deal because it's not worth $70 in its current state.

    Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is a serviceable action game bogged down by an insistence on being a live service title. While the characters are well written and the comedy is on point, a handful of repetitive objective types betray the intentions of an otherwise strong combat system. There is potential here – perhaps over time, Suicide Squad can evolve into something better – but for now, it's something that only absolute diehards will enjoy, and even then, that's not a guarantee.

    After almost a decade of waiting Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League turned out to be a far cry from anything most of the fans of Rocksteady Studios would have wanted. And seeing the current playerbase the game has, it's hard to tell if we even ever see where this whole story was planned to go.

    Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has fundamental design issues everywhere you look. This is a case of Rocksteady making the wrong decisions from the outset, and while they've executed their vision with technical sophistication and attention to detail, make no mistake; Suicide Squad is polished and 'gorgeous,' but scratch the surface and give it more than 30 minutes and it all falls apart.

    In the nine years since Rocksteady's last game, the superhero genre in video games has shifted dramatically, from a story-driven solo experience evocative of comic books to the multiplayer loot-obsessed open worlds of the current day. Returning to tell a new story in the superhero world meant adapting to that landscape, and Rocksteady does better than its predecessors in this endeavor. And yet, thanks to repetitive mission structure, wildly messy visual noise, server issues, frequent combat and movement hindrances, and a setting void of personality, it's still well below the quality this studio has shown it's capable of. I consider Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League to be the best this melding of heroes and loot grinds has produced so far, but it's a low bar and proof that 'best' doesn't necessarily mean 'good.'

    The bottom line feels as disappointing as the game itself. Rocksteady has a game on their hands that’s 20% filled with flair, flourish and joyous moments, but is bogged down by the other 80%, with braindead live-service stuff that no one really asked for and that might have been influenced by the publisher. With the current state of the industry, hopefully Rocksteady can come back with their next title and deliver the quality sort of game that they're more than capable of making when they're left to their own devices.

    Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League feels like it could be dead on arrival. The gameplay isn't fun, the story is paper thin, and crucially it doesn't do enough to hook players in.

    In the end, Suicide Squad is just…okay. Fine. Not amazing. Not a trainwreck. Folks wanting this game to be a complete disaster will be disappointed to discover a totally fine shooter that only succumbs to live-service corruption at the end. And for folks wanting something they can play for years, well, I hope you like shooting purple crystals over and over...Suicide Squad is a poster child for the kind of games that live between great and awful. While that might be enough for some, I can’t imagine the devs who worked hard on Suicide Squad (or publisher WB, who footed the bill for the game) wanted it all to end with what amounts to a shrug emoji. Yet, here we are. At least the shotguns are cool.

    Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League isn't the foreshadowed disaster it was meant to be, but it has too many flaws to be fully enjoyable. Its gameplay, while very energetic and relatively easy to get to grips with, is as basic as it gets. Worse still, the missions are repeated over and over until the game bows out. The same is true of the loot and character statistics, which boil down to percentages in tables. In the end, it is only the incredible direction and the four-star cast, buoyed by the omnipresent humour, that salvage this more-than-mixed review. All that remains now is to see whether the next seasons will bring a breath of fresh air, although it is hard to imagine Rocksteady remedy this.
