Dec 16, 2021Just like the first Subnautica I enjoyed a lot playing this game. Yess is a bit shorter but like the original it's mysterious! That's what makes the game very good in my opinion.
Also 60fps option on the series X is nice to have :) -

May 19, 2021This sequel learns every lesson from Subnautica, fixes the vast majority of issues, and adds a massive performance boost making for a phenomenal gameplay experience. It’s worth more than the retail price, highly recommend.

Aug 9, 2022I thought this was not going to be anything, a low budget game, but it turned out to be one of my favorites. It's really well done and keeps you immersed! Compared to some AAA games I've played lately FC6 it was a breath of fresh air!

Jun 6, 2021A great addition to the wonders of the first game with a heavy focus on great story and less focus on a harsh survival game although I didn't play the game on hard mode maybe that would've provided that experience.

Apr 18, 2022this game is just like the original subnautica but better in every way except for the map. the underwater area is lackluster and the arctic area doesnt make up for it. the arctic is way too empty and if you dont have the right equipment youre going to have a very bad time. overall this game is great and the graphics are fenomenal.

Sep 3, 2022Whilst it has it problems just like the last game, it improves on the best elements and make a much better game, especially better than the last game on Xbox.

Jul 25, 2021Subnautica: Below Zero offers a more immediate, accessible and complete gaming experience compared to the first chapter of the saga, providing a more impactful and suitable title for those who do not like too dispersive survival games. To succeed in this, however, many aspects of the original title have been simplified, resulting in a less meaty and varied game. A different experience then, but worth the effort.

May 25, 2021Subnautica: Below Zero is a great follow-up to one of the best in the genre. It dishes out the survival aspects in more digestible chunks than some of the more extreme cases. This makes it much more approachable for players like me who are intimidated by the restrictions of the genre. Do not let the nature of the game scare you away. This is a beautiful experience that I recommend if for nothing else, but to experience the ridiculously beautiful world Unknown Worlds has created.

May 21, 2021Subnautica: Below Zero retains all the key gameplay elements that gave its predecessor its success, and furthermore adds various improvements -although its significantly smaller map area and its design deprive it of the feelings of loneliness, fear and awe as you enter a new biome.
