Jul 5, 2023Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX is a remaster done right. The action is as good - and as hard - as ever and the new features included are all pretty good as well. The jury is out in regards the new music, but I am sure it will go down well with the younger generation.

Jun 18, 2023A game with a demanding difficulty that at the same time becomes addictive and a soundtrack that motivates you to keep playing by shooting and dodging the enemy.

Jun 29, 2023It feels weird to go backwards with these releases. Raiden III is by far the simplest I have checked out so far. Evolution in reverse is a bold choice. Still the simplicity of the combat makes for an addictive nature. I was coming back over and over to unlock new tunes to listen to and the visuals are still excellent. I love a good shooter and the Raiden series is always a good time. The price tag is also low enough that I don’t have a lot to knock. If you love shooters this is a great addition to your collection.

Jun 2, 2023While I do not consider it to be the best in the saga, it is not at all short in terms of what it offers, and is that Raiden III x Mikado Maniax will always be a good challenge for all lovers of the Shmups, its aesthetics and unique playstyle is what has always attracted the attention of the fans. Since the arcade in the 90s, its resurrection in the 2000s and its arrival on consoles in recent years, the Raiden franchise was, is and will be synonymous with quality in the genre.
