I enjoyed Party Animals far more than I thought I would and attribute a lot of this to the group I’ve been playing with. As I mentioned earlier, I don’t play a lot of online multiplayer games. This game just doesn’t hit the same way playing solo for me. I’m not sure it has the longevity, but with them adding new context for Halloween recently, I am hoping developers Recreate Games will keep supporting it to keep players coming back, even if it’s just to check out new content. Party Animals is a fantastic combination of quirky, comedy and cute, and although I have my issues with the sluggishness of the controls, I would recommend it to anyone to try, especially if you have a Game Pass subscription. It’s great for a laugh to step away from reality for awhile too.

Party Animals is a game that you will start having fun with, as soon as you start playing it. The freneticism and chaos will take over the screen and we will enjoy it for as long as we want.

Party Animals is a chaotic but hilariously fun experience. Seamless and polished, you'll rarely find a flaw in the gameplay. The devs generously gave us multiple modes and litany of characters to pay as. Punch and kick your opponents as you brawl your way to victory. You're sure to have a ton of laughs whether it's as a single player or with a group of up to 8 friends.

Party Animals is a game that gives you fun and laughter non-stop, and that will make you want to play again and again. Playing with friends is a unique experience and very different from other games of the same genre, so it is a perfect game for those who have many friends. You will have fun for hours with Party Animals, and you will also want to get the best rewards and accessories of the game. The game of Recreated Games could be the best family game of 2023, as it only gives you fun.

We’ve had such a good time playing Party Animals with friends. It definitely needs more content and new ideas, but even now it’s a great party game that anyone can play and have a great time.

All in all, Party Animals is a fun, hectic online wobbly brawler. The levels are varied and have some clever ideas and set-ups, while the physics-based nature of the combat provides hilarity whether we’re on the good or bad end of the randomness. Matches can feel a little overly long, but as something to pick up for an hour or so with friends regularly, this fits the bill nicely.

This is a great party game that is easy to recommend. It is fun both online and offline, the presentation is fantastic and the concept is created in such a way that it is almost always exciting.

Even though the intentionally clumsy controls of Party Animals has been done before, the amount of variety makes it stand out.

Party Animals is, in a word, promising. Whilst the launch version of this incredibly cute and colourful physics-based brawler is missing some key features that will boost replayability, the foundations are there for an excellent foray into the genre.

Party Animals is literally the party game where peace was never an option. And it's a lot of fun, of course.

Party Animals takes the Gang Beasts formula and turns the cuteness up to 11, and its well-designed maps encourage plenty of strategy, fun and hysterical laughter. In our opinion, it's one of the best party games available on Xbox Game Pass in 2023, especially if you've got a bunch of friends to enjoy it with in local or online multiplayer, and its pick-up-and-play nature means its accessible to gamers of all ages and skill levels. We've been waiting for this game for years now, and we're glad to report Party Animals lives up to the hype.

Party Animals is a mindless and casual multiplayer experience. Furthermore, it is fun to join your friends as you punch, kick, and bully unsuspecting victims. However, the shameful in-game purchases are unforgivable.

Party Animals isn't a bad multiplayer game, but it has some strange and almost unnecessary flaws, and the longevity of the fun you'll have playing it is questionable.

Party Animals offers a fun time with friends thanks to its visually distinct art style and party antics. While it is a fun multiplayer brawler, over time its fun does start to lose its luster as you engage in the same battles with friends.

Party Animals' adorable, floppy characters and variety of maps should make for an easy win. However, awkward mechanics and sluggish controls can make the game very frustrating to play.

Unfortunately, while there are moments when Party Animals shines and is a fun competitive mini-game experience, these moments were brought down by some confusing design choices that hampered my enjoyment while playing.

Party Animals is going to be a major hit among the players that enjoy playing games like Fall Guys or Gang Beasts. Excellent in multiplayer mode!

Considering it is coming to the Xbox Game Pass as soon as it is released, everyone should give Party Animals a try. With its cute animals, the game offers some amusing confrontations and, provided it is played with friends, can make for some memorable nights. The gameplay can be frustrating at times due to messy combat, but the fun and extravagant situations are never far away and compensate this well enough. With convincing content from the outset, both in terms of different game modes and avatar customisation, Party Animals has what it takes to make a name for itself.
