Observer: System Redux is the next generation remake of the cyberpunk, detective thriller set in the year 2084 in Krakow, Poland. When your past catches-up, you must act on your own and unravel the mystery of your son’s disappearance. Your name is Daniel Lazarski, Amazing as the original one. I like the visual improvement and all. Also the game looks good with or without Ray Tracing. Only way I could tell that Ray Tracing was on was due to a huge FPS hit. Problem solved by turning it off and runs extremely smooth on max settings. Never finished the original one to be honest (had forgotten it) but now I will certainly do so as this is a close to Cyberpunk you can get without playing CP 2077 for. few more days. For the price of admission it's worth picking this one up for our Xbox Series X also. It of course as one would expect it to be absolutely a beauti-FULL experience of the Xbox Series X version as we would expect nothing less. Expand

Graphical masterpiece. I have tried this on oled + hdr. What a game. Visually it took my breath. I do not know if on normal configuration it will be similar effect, but wow. Also I like this creepy dark blade runner atmosphere.

On the other hand, the graphical performance can provide plus points. Those who would like to play another title on their new console should definitely take a look at "Observer: System Redux".

Great detective game with a dystopian cyberpunk atmosphere. This game is visceral and dark. You play an Observer, basically a detective that can plug into peoples brain implants and view their memories. The entire game takes place in one apartment complex but at no time did I find it boring. You are searching for your estranged son but stumble upon something much bigger. Tons of intertwining stories and philosophical concepts to ponder while you find clues and try to retain your sanity. Expand

The gameplay elements may be basic and not exciting on their own, but it’s more about the journey you undertake than reaching the end point. The level design is brilliant and some of the experiences are very memorable even though it has flaws, namely the forced stealth sections. If you’re into the cyberpunk genre and want to experience something completely unique and twisted, look no further than Observer: System Redux, especially if you have an Xbox Series X or S to get the best visual experience unlike any other.

Observer: System Redux uses familiar sci-fi themes to create a compelling murder mystery in a haunting dystopian future. Though it takes place entirely in a derelict apartment building, the setting never feels restrictive, thanks in part to the clever mind-hacking sequences that let you explore the victims’ memories. It’s genuinely creepy, with the constantly building tension only interrupted by a few frustrating stealth sequences that feel like they came from another game. Even so, Observer: System Redux is a great display of survival horror storytelling.

It may not be different enough to justify a replay for those who’ve already experienced the original version, but for those wanting something crisp and clean on new consoles, or for those intrigued by Bloober Team’s work but put off by tense horror, >Observer_ is a great choice.
