We felt a film of grime developing on us as we played. NORCO’s world is decaying and warping, but we couldn’t help but sift through it, looking for the next hideous artefact in the sludge. This is a hypnotising point-and-click adventure, full of unforgettable characters, moments and puzzles

I liked the genre and mainly Broken Sword at the time but was skeptical about it to be still playable in 2023. Well, they did a great job here, interesting story, funny interactions, good achievement design, great pixel art. The twist here are the little various gameplay phases (boat drive, fights etc.) which keeps the rythm going through the narration process. The universe is coherent and absurd at the same time, reminding me of some Faulkner novel. A must try at least for the point&click / adventure amateurs. Full Review »
