    The absolute worst kind of consumer predatory pay to win garbage you can imagine. 90$ Canadian for the game. About 200$ to pay to level your character up to be competitive. About 15$ for season pass to myteam which if like last year will have 9 seasons so about another 135$. For total of $425 CAD. They are making gaming a hobby for the rich. No auction house. This is digital mafia behaviour and they should be investigated. They are shameless and have made a soulless game. The NBA should be ashamed for being attached to this digital fraud. 2k and VC and its staff should all be disgusted with themselves. Kobe would be appalled.… Expand

    With the new gameplay features and the new improvements as well as having the Mamba Moments in the game makes NBA 2K24 a memorial game that honors the legend very good.

    Cuando vuelvan a hacer un NBA 2K que tenga IGUAL o mejores gráficos que el NBA 2K14 vuelvo. Si, 14, lo he dicho bien, 14, busquen videos, el nba 2k14 si lo comparamos con el nba 2k24 de NEXT GEN parece un juego entonces de PS6. Es increíble como año a año ha sido sometido a downgrade este juego, y como puede ser que un juego de casi PS3 ( es el primero que fue next gen para ps4, se podríaCuando vuelvan a hacer un NBA 2K que tenga IGUAL o mejores gráficos que el NBA 2K14 vuelvo. Ni aunque estuviera gratis como el efootball lo jugaría. Triste el pobre individuo que haya gastado dinero en este juego y mas el que se va a gastar por su ludopatía en MT o VC, el peor juego que puede existir de basquet, quien te ha visto y quien te ve 2K.… Expand

    Most of the reason I buy the game is for the narrative my career story. I loaded up the game and found out there wasn't one. I refunded my game through XBOX. Now they added a battle pass? Guess I'm done with 2k. They joined the ranks of Madden.

    2K charged $70 for a MyCareer mode without an actual story. They created a problem and also created the solution. Worried about your character not doing well? Buy some VC for real world money. Oh no, your badge progress is regressing. Just give us a ton of money and we can sort of stop that for you. Some of the badges that regress do not even    Predatory, and very unethical game design.

    Guys... It's not good. Expect to pay $100s to win. I'm exhausted with this franchise. Strauss Zelnick deserves jail time for what he's done to the games we love.

    This entire game is made to drain your wallet. They don't even try to hide it anymore. The badge system with the new regression is the worst badge system ever put into a 2K game.

    In the end, NBA 2K24 might be the finest sports videogame I’ve ever resented. The butter-smooth gameplay, extensive core modes, and pristine visuals will deliver months upon months of top-tier digital hoops, which is reflected in the final score. However, those interested in character and team advancement will likely find the reliance on microtransactions to be too demanding and expensive to realistically pursue.

    NBA 2K24 is two games in one: it's a basketball manual full of love and a video game full of microtransactions. But you only notice the latter when you try to win in the City playground, the rest of the game is a solid experience and the best basketball game yet.
